Ignis shifted so neither of them fell. "Sounds about right."

<Well... Human stories are more complicated sometimes,> she guessed again, <So, do you wanna see if he will read to us? Or wanna do something else?"

<Let's go see if he'll read. I've never heard a human story.>

<Alright,> she nodded and stood then stretched again and walked towards the Lucario, <Hey, Anubis, will you read to us?> she asked.
<Sure,> he nodded. It made him blush every time she asked.

<What kinds of stories are in books?> Ignis asks as he sits in front Anubis.

<Anything really. Sometimes it's not stories, but information. Sometimes it's a bunch of short stories, sometimes it's only one long one,> Anubis explained, <Is there any kind of story you'd like to hear? About a certain thing or topic?>

<Well... No, not really. If you think it might bore hs though you might wanna pick another.>

<Alright...> he flipped to the index of his book, which was a collection of horror stories. He flipped to a page and began reading.
By the end, Melody was shaking a bit and she laughed nervously, <He... Hehe...>

Ignis wasn't faring much better, but his Dark type tendencies showed as he enjoyed the story.. then turned to Melody quickly.

<Boo!>

She let out a little squeak of fear and jumped a bit. <D-don't do that!> she stuttered and punched Ignis on the shoulder the looked at Anubis, who was laughing, and punched him too.

He rolls dramatically, like it had been a Mega Punch.

<Worth it!>

She puffed out her cheeks and gave him a grumpy glare, which was more cute than anything, <That wasn't very nice!> she punched both canines again.

He ducked, letting her punch glance of the bone plate on his head as he laughed.

<Why listen to a scary story and expect to nit be scared?>

She winced as her knuckles struck the plate and sucked on them, <You didn't have to scare me afterwards!>

<It was too much to pass up!> He tries to explain, still laughing a little. <The look on your face was great!>

She pouted and puffed her cheeks out, "I'll get you back for that," she growled.

<Aww, now don't make this a revenge thing! That's never any fun!>

<For you maybe,> she grinned slyly and playfully rubbed her nose against his, <Justice always gets served.>

<I didn't do anything wrong.> He points out, blushing very lightly.

<You scared me. I'll get you back,> she warned and crossed her arms then walked away while brushing her tail under Ignis' nose, leaving him with Anubis.
