The newly evolved typhlosion followed behind him, taking some time to learn how to walk on two legs. He arrived a couple minutes after Ignis.

Anubis was sitting in an armchair with Grace peering over his shoulder and he was reading to the lugia.

<Anubis? Sorry to interrupt, but could you tell Archur there's a surprise coming? Before Rome gets back?>

"Sure...?" Anubis nodded and looked up.
"Archur?" he called to his master, who was playfully wrestling with Melody.
"Yeah?" he asked through a face full of white fur.
"Um... I guess there's a surprise coming..." the Lucario said just as Rome walked in. "Oh... That must be it."
"Woah!" Archyr said excitedly and put Melidy down then rushed towards Rome, "You look awesome!"

Ignis smiles and hops on yo the bed, laying down on the pillow to rest.

Melody went to Ignis and cuddled next to him.
<So, you helped little Rome evolve?> she asked and licked his cheek.

<Maybe I did, maybe I didn't.> He replies mysteriously, smiling.

<That was so sweet of you,> she giggled and hugged him.

Ignis smiles and nuzzles her

<It was nothing. Just a rematch, really.>

<A rematch?> she asked and rubbed her head under his chin.

<We battled before we got here, for fun.>

<Oh? Who won?> she asked with a giggle.

<The fire type,> He says vaguely, chuckling.

<Oh wow,> she rolled her eyes and nuzzled up into him cutely.

<Oh, was I not very clear? I thought the winner was obvious.> He laughs, nuzzling her in return.

<Rome?> she finally guessed.

<Like I said, I thought it was obvious.>

<So I'm right?> she looked very conconfused now

<No comment." He says softly, risking a courageous lick of her nose.

She blushed and then wrapped her arms around his neck and licked his nose back. <You're so sweet...~>

Ignis can feel his face growing hot, and looks away.

<It's not like I'm trying to be...>
