Se blushed and looked away shyly, "Awe~ you're sweet," she smiled and playfully touched her nose to his, "I'm sure if you fight, you'll do fine~" the slim zangoose smiled.

Smiling, Ignis licks her cheek before his ears twitch and he looks towards the door.

>It's time...<

"Alright guys, you all ready?" Archur asked and began recalling them to their pokeballs. "Don't worry, guy. You'll be out and about soon," he smiled at Ignis, "If you get out there, I'm sure you'll do fine."

He nodded in response and got to his feet, waiting nervously for Archur to go so he could follow. Ignis felt funny, and he wasn't sure if it was from excitement irl anxiety, but he pushed it down. He had to focus and do his best!

He gently tapped the pokeball to Ignis's nose and then stood.

"Go Ignis!" Archur called as he sent out the fire-dog. It was the last battle of the tournament, and Ignis was up against a very weary looking Venosaur. Nicholai had done a number on it before hand, but in the end was knocked out, so it was up to Ignis to finish the job.
"Ignis! Use smog!" Archur ordered with a nervous severity in his tone.

The canine hesitated, maybe a moment too long, but he spat the noxious smoke out at the Venasuar as fast as he could after shaking his head to clear his mind. He just had to ignore the crowd. The crowd of hundreds of people watching the battle. Watching him...

The attack didn't do much by way of damage to the injured and slow-moving venosaur, but it did confuse the grass type further.
"Alright, Ignis, use ember!"

This he could handle a bit more easily. He just had to focus. Flames poured from his mouth at the Grass Pokémon, hitting it squarely.

The damage Nicholai had done, coupled with Ignis' flames finally did its job and the grass type fainted. Archur let out an excited "WHOOP!" and pumped his fist into the air.

<I really hope that was the last one. That Venasuar didn't even fight back and I'm still a bundle of nerves...> Ignis mutters as he looks back at Archur.

"And the winner is… Archur Fitliano!" a voice announced over the loud speaker. The boy behind Ignis was smiling broadly as he looked at the little fire type in front of him.

So they won? They won! The incredible feeling of knowing he'd done well for Archur, fir the others filled him with warmth. Then he couldn't see as that warmth grew hotter and hotter and his body started shining like the sun, stretching and changing. When the light went out he howled... as a Houndoom.

Archur's eyes went wide as he watched the canine in front of him evolve.
"Way to go, Ignis!" he exclaimed with a cheer.

After the initial shock wears off Ignis starts looking at himself, inspecting his new legs, his tail(accidentally hitting his nose with it) and even shaking his head back and forth. It takes Archur a minute to realize he's trying to look at his horns.

The teen just laughed and walked forward, "Come on, buddy. You can look in a mirror later," he smiled and scratched the canine behind the ears while the crowd kept cheering.

Caught, he grins, embarrassed, and looks up at Archur. He quickly uses his nose to tap the PokéBall he'd been in before and disappear into in a flash of red light.

Later on, Archur let all his pokemon out, Ignis included.
<Oh, wow~> Melody blushed deeply as she saw the evolved canine, and suddenly she felt more shy around him.
<Congrats, Ignis~> Rome smiled at the canine from his spot with Grace.

<Thanks, everyone. Winning that battle for Archur... Well, you can see what that did, can't you?>

Melody slowly approached him, <It made you a lot bigger… And more muscular…" she suddenly wrapped her arms around his neck.
