The shiny Zangoose murred softly and licked under his chin.

>I still can't believe I won.. Whoever went before me, thanks for weakening that Venasuar.< He says sincerely, licking Melody's nose.

<That would be me, comrade,> Nicholai said from his spot next to Forli. His robotic arm wasn't attached anymore, but it seemed to be a clean removal, obviously done on purpose and not during battle.

>I can't see that being an easy fight, sir. Thank you for helping. Thank you all."<

<It wasn't, but I can see that it did you well,> the cyborg grinned as Forli nuzzled under his chin.

>Very well, sir.< He looks up at Archur and thinks hard for a few moments. >Anubis? Tell Archur I'll stay.<

The jackal pokemon looked over then smiled. He translated for Archur and the boy smiled widely.
"You will?! awesome!!!" he exclaimed and happily scratched Ignis behind the ears.
"Do you want me to release you from the pokeball and you can still come with us?" he offered, "I can only have six pokemon with me at any time. That rule won't apply if you're wild."

>If it brings a friend back, I'll gladly be 'wild' again. Is there anyway we can be sure another trainer won't try to catch me, though? Just in case?<

Anubis translated again.
"Umm... If you just stay with me, then I think you should be fine. I keep most of my pokemon out anyways, so you won't look out of place unless people count."

>Then I hope they don't count...< He looks at Melody and smiles.>I'd hate to leave...<

The Zangoose clinging to his neck blushed, <I'd hate for you to leave too,> she whispered.
Archur smiled at them then lay back. He felt kind of odd without at least having Venice beside him. Rome was with Grace now, and too big for him to hold, and Venice had been boxed. He felt almost like there was a little void now, and he hated it.

>I'd fight to get back to you with all my strength...< He promises, holding her close by lowering his head over her shoulder.

She blushed bright red, <R-really?>

>Yeah, really. I know you'd do the same.<

She thought for a moment then nodded, <Yeah... I would...> she agreed.

>Then we'll be just fine." He licks her cheek briefly, face hotter than normal, and goes to lay on the bed.

She followed him and smiled momentarily at Archyr then wrapped her arms around Ignis and cuddled into him.

He curls up around her and sighs happily, enjoying being with her, and to a lesser extent the others. His life had changed a lot since he'd met Archur, and he couldn't think of any reason to ever go back to the way things had been...

She purred and licked his neck softly.
Archur rolled over and closed his eyes, facing the wall.
