<I don't know, they might.> He had thought about it a lot, worried the horns would get stuck he he backed up under something. <I won't be as big as you will when you evolve though.>

<That's just because you'd be on four legs and I'd be on two," Rome shrugged and scratched his right ear with a foot.

<No way, you'll weigh more! And you'll get that cool fire thing around your neck too!>

"I know I'll weigh more, but if I got on all fours, I'd be as big as you," he shrugged.

<I guess so. Did your human help you evolve?> He scratches at his side a bit.

<Mhmm,> Rome nodded, <It's one of the benefits of having a trainer,> the fire type yawned and looked around at his sleeping companions, then over at Anubis and Venice.
<I love her so much...> he whispered and looked down.

<She'll find out one day, I'm sure. Then you can love each other, right?>

<I hope so...> the quilava sighed sadly and looked at his fellow fire type, <Wanna go train?>

He looked at the Quilava's closely. Train? Well, he hadn't done that a lot lately, and he was feeling a little rusty...

<Sure. What did you have in mind?>

<Just a quick battle... I've been close to evolving for a while, I can feel it. Maybe this battle?> he said hopefully.

<So I might as well be one of those evolving stones. Okay, I'm up for it. I'm out of practice anyway.>

<Don't put it like that,> Rome said with a happier smile, <We can just be training partners. I'm sure that if you want to evolve Master Archur will get you a stone.>

<My kind don't need stones.> He explains, looking behind him before getting up and stretching. <I evolve like you do.>

<Oh.. Really? I thought you were like growlithe and vulpix,> he shrugged and led Ignis a bit away from the group into a smaller clearing.
<Alright, let's start!>

Without warning, Ignis growls and uses Smog, filthy smoke billowing from his mouth at Rome.

The quilava quickly jumps out of the way and uses quick attack, charging towards Ignis at incredible speeds.

A second Smog follows, but Rome is too fast and Ignis is knocked off his feet with ease. He gets to his feet and shakes his head. He was out of practice! Ember came next, flame erupting from between his fangs.

This caught Rome by surprise, but fortunately it didn't do too much damage due to typing.
The quilava's head an back lit up and he curled up into a ball and charged forwards at Ignis using flame wheel. He wasn't counting on the fire for anything, but the momentum of the impact.
