"Good thing, wouldn't be very comfortable to set yourself on fire-" I smile, remembering a time when I had done that. I start going down the hill towards the path that led to Riften, the bandits were all taken care of. "I'm horrible with magic. Been trying for many years to understand a healing spell and even something simple as that is impossible for me. I've got nothing against magic, but it's just something I can't do. Everyone has their weakness." He lived in Markarth. Well, that explains why he might like the Dwarves so much. I haven't gone home in well over a year. I should. Probably won't.

"I'm okay at magic, but only conjuration. I'm decent at restoration," he said, "But my real skill lies in two handed weapons.

"Mine too." The only weapon I have ever used is a greatsword, though the material has changed throughout the years. And since it would be stupid to wield a two-handed weapon while wearing flight armor, I favored heavy armor. I turned the corner at the bottom of the stairs that would end up coming out at the road. Riften was maybe a mile or two away. Not too far, but it might take about half an hour to reach.

Dmitri whistled and his speckled war horse trotted out from the rocks where she had hidden herself to graze while there was fighting and he mounted.
"Would you like to hop on?" he offered her and held his hand down to her.

I hesitate at first, slightly unsure, but then take his hand and pull myself up. "Thank you," I appreciate his offer. Dmitri is without a doubt the nicest Khajiit I've met. Most of them start hissing at me right from the start, just because they think I'm going to put them down for their visual appearance.

He smiles as she hops up behind him and he very licks the horse into a gallop. They reach Riften in 10 minutes, where he slides off the mare and offers his hands up to help Siria down.
((Going up north tomorrow, may or may not be on. I'll be there all weekend.))

I could have gotten off myself, but I let Dmitri help me down anyways. It was nice of him. I thank him again and go towards the gates. There were two guards stationed at the gates, both still as statues. They let us through without even glancing at us, which was rather lazy but after standing at a door all day I guess you get a little out of focus due to the tireless monotony of the task. Mistveil Keep is on the other side of town, but again this wasn't a big town. "I think I still have the bounty letter..." I mutter almost inaudibly, searching through a small pouch of folded up papers attached to my hip. "There it is." It ended up being at the bottom. Typical. Whenever you need something it disappears.

By the time she had found hers, Dmitri Was reading over his copy, 1000 septims, so 500 a piece," he said and put the letter into another pouch on his waist.
"You fight very well," he commented as they walked across the wooden upper levels of the canal, "How about a drink at the inn after we get paid?"

My letter said the same. "As do you," He was a good fighter. And those Spheres and the most complex yet useful thing I've heard of. "Sure," I respond to his offer, happy at the prospect of getting to sit down for an hour or so. It wasn't often that I took a break. Too much going on. I open the door of Mistveil Keep and walk inside. The temperature instantly changed from cold to warm. Almost too much so.

Dmitri didn't mind the temperature change too much. His armor was pretty cool and it kept him from getting too hot too fast.
Dmitri bowed after approaching the Jarl, "Hello, m'lady. We have taken care of the nearby bandit problem."

I stay back a little bit. One person is enough. "They've finally been wiped out?" Jarl Laila was of good nature and believed the word of most. Meaning we didn't need to bring proof that the man was dead. She calls her steward over, something Snow-Shod, I can't quite remember her name; and asks her to get the bounty for the chief. I'm standing a ways behind Dmitri. Don't need both of us up there.

After recieving the money, Dmitri walked back to Sinia's side, "To the inn then?"
(Aw, okay )

"Sure." The steward thanks us for taking care of the problem again before we leave. The inn here was called the Bee and Barb, and run by an Argonian woman. Just down the road a ways. I open the doors to the keep, now a bit more comfortable, since I preferred the slight chill Riften offered. "They normally don't offer rewards that high. The average is one or two hundred septims. Those bandits must have been giving them a lot of trouble."

"Hello, Keerava, Talen," Dmitri greeted the two Argonians who ran the inn and they said hello back.
"What will it be tonight, Dmitri?" Talen-Jei asked.
"Two White-Gold towers please," he said and tosse some of his coin onto the counter to pay for it. The male argonian quickly went to prepare the drinks and brought back the two flasks with them,.
"Here you go," Talen smiled and Dmitri handed one to Sinia.
"Cheers."

"Cheers," I really need to be careful. Drinking is not something I'm very good about. "If you get another one I'm paying for it." He had done enough for me, and I felt bad.

"Pfft, what kind of gentleman would I be if I let you pay?" Dmitri scoffed and took a swig from his flagon, "Besides, I only need one of these at a time."

"I don't know. I'd just feel bad." A bard starts singing 'Age of Oppression,' to the annoyance of a few Imperials that happened to be drinking at the time. "I'll try drinking one, but after that I forget everything. Then again I'm by myself when that stuff happens." It's not like I was an alcoholic, since I only did that kind of thing once in awhile. And to my knowledge I never hurt anyone.

He rolled his eyes and shrugged, "Just drink. What kind of Nord can't take some Argonian concoction? You can't really call yourself a Nord unless you do."

"It's not that I can't take it," I laugh and try to explain. "I end up drinking too much. Last time I woke up somewhere near Falkreath. Finding a dead elk not twenty feet away was weird, and it didn't help that the poor thing looked like the wolves had gotten to it." I take a drink, remembering how confused I was. It was funny now. Certainly wasn't a few months ago. Almost everyone has gotten drunk and wolen up somewhere odd. It wasn't uncommon. I just didn't like doing it.

He just chortled and accepted her excuse then took another deep gulp. Usually, Dmitri could down several bottles of mead and even some wine before really getting drunk, but just one of these and he was already leaning to the side a little.
