((Ah yes that's a useful piece of information =3 I just went of off what I was given))

"I can see why you are," I say. Graduating from the college was a rather difficult task, one I would most certainly fail at. "She's made a huge accomplishment, anyone should be able to see that - whether they support magic users or are against them." I go through the gates, the guards having willingly let us through. We should make it to the next city within enough time.

"I own one of the horses here. Would you like to ride rather than walk?"
Sinia (played by Kat2000) Topic Starter

"That's up to you, it's not my horse. I don't mind walking." I remember Dmitri's horse from earlier. Nice horse. If any horse could really qualify as nice... I don't know.
Dmitri Yashklov (played by EonRising)

"She's pretty sturdy. I'm sure she can carry us both," Dmitri assured her and walked towards the stables then opened the gate to one of the pens and led his white mare out by the bridle and tossed the sadle onto her back and gestured for Sinia to climb on.
Sinia (played by Kat2000) Topic Starter

"Alright," I agree. I climb on the back of the horse as Dmitri suggested to, then waited for him to climb on as well. For a long time, I've always taken the same route around the small range of mountains that separated the north from the south in these parts, never thinking of how much more efficient it could get. Maybe it could.

Dmitri climbed up and adjusted himself to sit comfortably in front of Sinia then lightly tapped the white mare with his heels. She started off at a slow canter and moved down the cobble stone path.
"The only thing I don't like about making a trip from almost and southern region to Winterhold is the need to stop in the only city completely filled with the most racist Nords in Skyrim..." he sighed.

((An old Sugar Maple knocked down some of the power lines :())

I can understand where he's coming from with the impression that all the Nords of Eastmarch are racist, still I cannot help but counter the statement. "Hey, not all of them are that bad. I'm not racist, am I?" Sadly, it's true that many people in Windhelm were extremely racist. There are a few who are more open-minded however, such as myself.
Dmitri Yashklov (played by EonRising)

"Of course... The sailors are more open minded, but every Nord, besides the inn keeper, in that blasted city has said something rude or condescending to me," he sighed, "I never intend to live there," he sighed and let the reigns drop into his lap and folded his hands behind his head while the horse kep on moving along.
"So. What has lead you to be more open minded?"

I looked off to the side and thought a moment. The way I thought about many things have always just sort of been there - never changing, such as the sun appears to do. "I guess it was just the way I was raised. My dad was never one to judge because of race, and he ended up passing that on to me. I often went with him to pick up ore shipments, of course many different types of people dealt with that and I saw that it didn't matter what their skin looked like, they were either nice or mean and that was that." Sometimes the city really annoys me, but I don't want to truly leave because there are so many people there who think everyone but Nords are terrible. "I might be able to get it so that they don't give you trouble anymore... I can't clear entire races of people, but a few well placed words and they should leave you alone."
Dmitri Yashklov (played by EonRising)

"I don't need you to do that. They're at least smart enough not to pick fights with me," he shrugged indifferently, "But it wouldn't hurt to have a Nord backing me up."
Sinia (played by Kat2000) Topic Starter

"Then I will do all I can. I understand why they don't like the Dark Elves in the city, but there is no reason to be prejudiced against anyone else. There are a few others who might be willing to help as well." The Dunmer hated us as much as we did them. They stick to their little corner - I've tried to reason with them, to no avail. Already the difference in temperature could be felt, slowly the ghosts of cold winds from the north sneaked down into the south.
Dmitri Yashklov (played by EonRising)

"Help what? We only have to stay For a night."
Sinia (played by Kat2000) Topic Starter

"It's not right. Something needs to be done about it, not just for you but for all." This was a nice vision, impossible maybe but lovely all the same. Best we'd be able to get is to soften it up a little.
Dmitri Yashklov (played by EonRising)

"I can deal with one or two rude comments for a night. I do not take a lot of things personally.
Sinia (played by Kat2000) Topic Starter

"I figured as much," I respond with a nod, "though others take things to heart and avoid Eastmarch like the plague. If it were to cool down, there would be more than Nords and solitary Dunmer living there."
Dmitri Yashklov (played by EonRising)

"And those Argonians down at the docks," he shrugged, "It will be fine."
Sinia (played by Kat2000) Topic Starter

"Yes, they tend to avoid going up into the city..." I've talked to a few of them. They've been rather friendly, so I don't have a problem with them and don't see why anyone else would have any issues speaking to them. "It might die down a bit after the war is over - though of course that might or might not depend on who wins."
Dmitri Yashklov (played by EonRising)

"I think things will only get worse for us non-human races if the Stormcloaks win... At least in the beginning. The Aldmeri Dominion, as much as I hate them, will come in and destroy them, just like they destroyed the Empire."
Sinia (played by Kat2000) Topic Starter

"I wish that the Empire and the Stormcloaks would just set aside whatever differences they have and go fight the Dominion together. Neither of them seem to like them that much - Stormcloaks especially. Though if Ulfric's cause wins, it is possible that Skyrim will be able to hold the Dominion off as Hammerfell has done so far. The Empire is dying, for that reason I will not yet fight for them. I'm not fighting for Stormcloaks either, all Ulfric wants is power." I have an equal amount of reasons to hate both people, and an equal amount of reasons to love them. One thing is certain, though. Anyone lays siege on Windhelm, I'm fighting against them.
Dmitri Yashklov (played by EonRising)

"Maybe if someone as important or powerful as Ysgramor was still alive the Stormcloaks would have a chance, but there is no such person. The only reason Hammerfell hasn't fallen is because of their terrain. The Nords here will be less of a threat that the Empire was, and the Empire will defeat the Stormcloaks, and I will help them, if I am hired to do so," he stated rather bluntly, "As much as I do hate the Aldmeri, their... Foreign policy... is more favorable than that of the Nords."
