Hello! New to the forum, not really new to RP. Been playing in RPs and ttrpgs and mmorpgs for a very long time. In terms of RP forums I've spent the majority on Gaia -- mostly for the qhite background since that works wonders for post editing, but quality RPs are a rarity there and most lit-adv. lit RPs don't last very long there, unfortunately. And if it wasn't apparent, I generally like to play in lit to advanced lit RPs, but the adv lit RPs can be a bit pretentious and/or more work than it's worth. So I like a bit of wiggle room.
I like to world build, and character build, I'm generally in it for the story and I like to collaborate with others to build said world. I don't have much experience 1x1 and would prefer to do group RPs if possible. I'm not super keen on filling roles, and would rather RP in a setting that is perhaps looser and a bit more open ended with character casts and creation -- if that makes sense. Favorite settings tend to be Fantasy, Sci-fi, supernatural. I tend to avoid slice-of-life because, let's be honest, I'm here for some escapism.

Heya, welcome to RPR, looks like you've been on this horse a few times but each site is different so here are a few things that may help you to get started. 
Find RP: Is a great way to look for ads other players have put up looking for other players to join in and collab in a game that already has some seed of a plot.
LFRP: Is much the same as Find RP, but you can put up your own ad that can be seen by anyone in the applicable filters.
In both cases you can use filters to find exactly what you are looking for for your optimal RP experience. Also, don't forget about GROUPS, where you can find whole worlds to RP in with other people making it a bit easier for all players to be on the same page. You can also start your own!
