She smiled nervously "My mom..um.. Gety give this to me..its for a safe she has on her office.. I really don't know what is inside" she looked at him worried "its for just in case humans were ever to get really involved in this fight"
"What does it open...I...I've heard rumors of such things...." He watched her eyes and tried to hug her
She walked towards her closet grabbing her boots and cloak while she shrug at his question taking a deep breath "we need to find out" Rosa turned quickly to the side hearing Aphiel groan while he was resting.
Laus peered at Aphiel, watching him roll over on his side before kneeling next to him and feeding him a small vial, watching Rosa closely before whispering to Aphiel, "I dont trust her.."
Rosa turned to them smiling softly then looking at Aphiel walking towards them sitting next to him "how are you feeling."
Laus watched the two and leaned against the wall as he closed his eyes, an attendant appearing next to him as she massaged his shoulders. Aphiel looked up to Rosa with a warm smile, cupping her cheek lightly, "Delightful dear.. I...I feel so..powerful...like a lock was released.."
The ground chilled, the grass paling, than dying beneath the heavy black boot as it stomped into the ground. Rain pelted in the cloudy night sky as the pelting of drops against the armor sounded in the forest. The tall being stepped slowly, his void black cape swaying in the wind as he took a step closer to the ruins of the monastery Rosa and Aphiel took shelter in. He slid his sword from the sheath, the silver metal shining in the moonlight with a dull glow. He pressed the tip into the ground and rested both his hands on the hilt as the helmet gazed over the bricks of the building, his voice as soft as the midnight wind and distinctly inhuman as he whispered, "And this....is where the prey takes their shelter...interesting.."
Rosa smiled at Aphiel her face without life her skin turning pale slowly her eyes turning as black as night "Im glad..." she showed the key to Aphiel while looking at him she felt a cold breeze running behind her giving it no attention "Theres a safe on my mothers office that this key opens and it was only to be open if it was ever human involved in this war ... when you get better we should go check it out"
He watched her eyes and didn't move, instead he took her hand, holding ehr still and shaking his head, "What's happening to you.."
She looked at him trying to smile but failing "Im fine dont worry..its just a little change.." She stood up pulling her hand away from Aphiel "I'm hungry..are you hungry?.. I think I should go find something to eat.." she walked towards the door "I'll be right back.."
Aphiel growled slowly, stepping between Rosa and the door as he wrapped his arms around her, the two started glowing slowly as he closed his eyes, a large beam of light broke through the cieling as it encircled the two, the monastery shook before the light faded, Aphiel collapsing on the ground.
Rosa got on her knees holding his hand "Aphiel.." she turned to look at Laus "What happened..what was that?"
Aphiel held her hand tightly, panting deeply as the Marquess knelt and watched her eyes, kissing her forehead and whispering faintly, "Aphiel..Dispelled your demoness, at least temporarily by forcing his angelic soul fragment within you.."
She smiled softly at the Marquess kiss when he looked at him while he explained her eyes turned hazel,she shook her head "you shouldn't have ... I told you everything was fine" she smiled " but thank
Aphiel smiled softly, leaning up as he hugged her without release, whispering in her ear, "Its something you can only do to a loved one.."
She opened her mouth to respond to him when she started to feel like she was being watched she looked around slowly getting up walking to the front door slowly checking almost every room finding nothing "something's wrong"
As they two men watched Rosa search the monastery for the presence, the Knight slowly walked forward, the heavy storm and deep night made him nearly invisible despite his size and the loud clanks of armor. He approached a wall, taking his sword and pressing the tip to the bricks, a rune appeared around the blade's edge, the wall exploding forth in a loud explosion. The Knight peered around before taking a step in slowly, moving down the hallway and towards the basement.
Before reaching the court yard of the monastery Rosa extended her arm making her sword appeared getting a good grip on it as the explosion made them turn around "someone is here" Rosa said to Aphiel and Laus as she grabbed the key from Aphiels hand hiding it inside her boot.
Aphiel stood up quickly, looking over the Marquess who already nodded, disappearing as cast his Ire. Aphiel took Rosa's hand, sliding his own sword from under the bed as he looked into the hallway, "Sounds like it was in the cellar.."
Rosa nodded looking at the empty spot were Laus was "We shall go check what it was" Rosa put her hand over her heart whispering to herself "Be safe"
