Aphiel went first, his desire to protect the woman he was with became obvious, he carefully peered around the hallway before reaching the spiral stairs down to the cellar, the storm outside continued on, rain and now hail began pouring into the monastery where the hole was blown in the wall. Aphiel slowly opened the cellar door and peered back to Rosa, "No matter what...stay behind me.."

Rosa nodded as her heart was pounding against her chest, her hands were shaking as she took a deep breath "whatever it is.. its powerful Aphiel.."

The Black Knight stood in the center of the large open cellar, facing the hallway as he stood, hands resting on his great sword as the helmet gazed at the hallway. The Marquess walked in, looking up to see the great knight and froze. "W.....Who are you...", the Marquess took a step back, the Knight following by walking slowly towards him, the pure weight of his armor shaking the ground. "I am darkness...and I am unstoppable at my goal..that is all you need to know..", The Marquess turned to run, but the Knight gripped his arm, slamming him against the wall. The bricked cracked behind him as the Marquess groaned in pain, both his hands gripping the Knight's gauntlet as he looked up at the eerily black helmet, searching for eyes that seemed to not exist. "Warn Rosa and Aphiel, that their treachery and deviation will not be tolerated...and that they walk their final days...", The knight backhanded the Marquess, badly bruising his cheek as blood dripped from his face. The Marquess looked up, and the knight was absent. Aphiel slowly opened the door and peered in cautiously as the Marquess slumped against the wall, whispering faintly. "H...Help.."

Rosa's eyes widen when she heard his voice pushing Aphiel to the side running towards the Marquess dropping her sword to clean the blood from his face quickly wrapping her arms around his neck, looking at him in the eyes "Are you ok?.. What happened?.. who did this to you?"

He panted deeply, looking up slowly as his dull eyes looked into Rosa's. His hand resting on her arm as he coughed, blood dripping from his chin as he leaned back, almost limply, "A...Knight....dressed in black armor...like the ones from the middle ages... he.. he had a dark presence about him...he told....told me to warn you and Aphiel..that he would kill you two.."

Rosa tilted her head in confusion "that thing... He was..I mean is after us? Then why did it attacked you?" She rest her chin on top of his hand around her arm.

He watched her eyes and peered down, "I changed places with a morph...I knew the explosion was in the cellar so I caught him..well..I think I caught him waiting for you...hes so strong....His voice...it...its not human...it sounds..almost created... Ill never forget it....He is just using me as a warning...Im sure he would have killed me if he didnt think I would cause you two to emotionally get disturbed.."

She nodded smiling at him "let's take you to my room so you can rest...and a no it's not acceptable Laus" she was trying to cover up the fear she was feelings while she smiled at him,she turned to Aphiel "help me please"

The Marquess looked up to her, hope and care in his eyes as he gripped her shoulders, Aphiel standing with a nod as he gripped his legs and started helping move him upstairs, whispering to Rosa Laus fell asleep, "What are we going to do.."

She looked at Aphiel "what are we going to do? He's after us ..I don't have all my powers and to be honest I don't think I'm all there to be fighting" they got to the room and laid Laus on her bed as she sat next to him.

Laus slept soundly, his hand holding tightly onto Rosa's as he did, Aphiel paced through the room. "This is unheard of...of all the time I spent as commander of the demonic armies, I never have heard of a man like this... He is new...and that scares me, of where they found such power so shortly...and that comment about his voice..", he stopped and turned to Rosa, "What if he is...a construct from some raw power? He wouldnt be weak to normal things like a living creature.."

Rosa let's go of Laus hand as she started playing with her fingers while listening to Aphiel, she looked at Aphiel passing her thru her hair " what are we going to do...you think that whatever that safe holds can help?"

Aphiel shrugged, his eyes lowering slowly before he sat in a chair, his hands tapping the arm rests in thought. "I dont know what could help us now... this is something I have not seen before..if its something more powerful than me...is it even killable?"

She chuckled softly covering her mouth "sorry.." She reached for her boot taking the key out slowly getting up walking towards him " you should go and check whatever it is that lays in that safe...I'll stay and take care of Laus"

He tilted his head, holding the key as he whispered, "You..have no idea whats in there? What if its something that reacts to me.."

She shock her head " it won't ..I mean I don't think it will ..my mother hated demons and it reacts to them but you'll be fine don't worry" she smiled softly at him " I mean that's why you feel more you... Your connection to him it's broken"

Aphiel nodded slowly, gripping the key tightly and sliding out the door. He walked slowly through the halls and looked at the door to Rosa's mother's office, the door cracked open slightly. He took a step in, swaying the door open as a loud creak rang into the room, watching the dark stone walls before looking at the safe in the back, kneeling as he pressed the key against the lock. The door opened slowly, Aphiel's eyes widening as he gazed on a glowing Rosary, cautiously reaching out and lifting them, surprised at the lack of burning from the touch. He returned the room, offering out the rosary with a confused look.

She took it with a confuse look even worst than Aphiels shaking her head " what does this means... Was she serious about a powerful weapon ... This makes no sense... It's just like mine but.. It feels different"

Aphiel stared at it for a moment, his eyes glowing in realization before he sat at a desk, turning as he frantically whispered to Rosa, "Paper....I need paper!"

Rosa reached under her bed pulling out a box full of papers she moved some to the side and grabbed a sketching book handling to Aphiel raising an eyebrow as she did " Here ..but why do you need it?"
