Laus looked over and took a solemn look as he closed his eyes, "I dont think you want to know.."

Rosa lower her eyes nodding blushing a bit "Its ok if you dont want to tell me I just ... I dont know.. I never knew any of them so its just curiosity.." She smiled lightly.

Laus looked up and gave her a slight nod before whispering under his breath, "If you want to know much about your dad...just ask that Knight, his power is from Aphiel, his strength is from you...and his quintessence...his soul...Is your father's.."

Her yes widen looking at him shaking her head "Your lying..right?..." She ran her fingers thru her hair looking straight "How dare..oh my god."

He looked at her and took her hands with a soft smile, "But that means there is hope...your father his been twisted and corrupted by the darkness...but you...you can purge that with light and bring him to his senses if that is all true."

She shook her head looking at him "I dont think I can ..." she lets go of him walking again with out saying a word putting her hand in front of her trying to see if her power were there just to fail since she couldnt create a fireball all the way to the woods she tried but with every try what Aphiel did to her vanished a bit more.

Laus followed her, watching her struggle as he rested a hand over her shoulder, "I have a way to return your power...I..forfeit my own to you.."

She shook her head again looking down "You need them ... and dont worry Ill get mine back"

He watched her and kissed her cheek, "Never give up hope....Never Rosa.."

She smiled blushing lightly "Dont worry..I wont..if youre here.." She blushed more looking away "Now I think we should hurry we're running out of time.."

He smiled, biting his lip nervously, parting them to speak before just nodding, following her quickly as he mumbled under his breath, "I think I am falling.."

She looked at him tilting her head "Meaning..." She said while taking the script out again to see how Aphiel was doing

Laus quickly looked away blushing and stuttered as he looked over the scroll, watching her eyes subtley, "I am falling..behind! I caught up now though.."

She chuckled softly "Think were close?" she turned and looked at him smiling.

The Marquess gave a soft nod and followed her, the air in a moment dropped 30 degrees, frost instantly forming around the trees as the air whipped by. A small clearing opened ahead, snow lightly falling and coating the ground as Aphiel hung from a cross, nearly crucified as he panted deeply. In front of him stood the Knight, back towards Laus and Rosa with his helmet tucked under his arm. The black hair flowed in the wind along with the red cape, armor shining in the moonlight as an Angel stood in front of him. The angel peered up, catching Rosa's eye before hissing and pointing to her, "That...that is her...my daughter!". The Knight turned slowly, the human head sprouting from the massive black armor seeming so out of place for a man so large. The Knight's eyes locked to Rosa's, the exact same eyes Aphiel possessed, looking almost identical to him. "Stay back my Seraph, I shall not delay our plans..", the Knight slid his helmet up, locking it into place over his head as he drew the long silver blade, his voice still distorted and inhuman as he whispered with the wind, "Leave now...you fight me in my element, and you will not win..", he took a step forward with one foot, aiming the blade to Laus, "Stay back weakling...You can not harm me here.." The angel watched Rosa, very similar in appearance to her before she shook her head slowly. The angel stretched her massive wings and ascended in a pillar of blinding light, leaving the Knight in darkness facing the two challengers.

Rosa looked at the Knight Aphiels eyes paralyzed her but she took a glance at the angel, Rosa felt lost and hurt as she has never felt before her eyes holding the tears back she moved the sword aiming at Laus and pointed at herself looking at the knight without saying a word.

The Knight gazed at her eyes, the eery void of darkness filling her soul as he muttered lowly, "You don't know your opponent Maiden, I will cut you down in an instant..."

She smirked looking at him "you are so right but it's because of me that you are even here.." She took a look at Aphiel then back at the knight " so don't underestimate me.."

The Knight stood still, his armor not moving from breaths as the sword slowly pointed back towards Laus, "He is my opponent.."

She stood there between them again anger in her eyes looking at the knight "Who was the angel?..."
