The Marquess stormed down a hallway, walking intently and briskly as the two escorts kept their pace, they walked by Rosa, not even noticing her, though one escort was speaking as they passed, the only words audible to Rosa were, "Sire he is hurt deeply... if we dont act quickly..", before their voices faded down the hallway

She felt her stomach sink in as her heart stopped the chill breeze behind them made her froze in fear as she appeared walking behind Laus holding his hand "whats going on?"

Laus turned and watched her eyes, the escorts opening a door at the end of the hallway with seals over it, each one causing a seal to fade as he took a deep breath, "I keep quintessences or souls of others in a special contained room in the castle, and this spirit is especially powerful..but especially evil...its my brother's.
"

She looked at him in shock "And whats wrong with him..."

Laus nodded slowly, a bitterness in his eye as he whispered, "He was a wicked child...nearly took it out on me multiple times...he learned the dark magic before I did, and it consumed him..so while he was weak I simply harvested him...he isnt to found of it I found out

Rosa couldnt help but chuckled "Im sorry.." she cover her mouth "you know you have me now... and I can help you with it right?" she said while her hand cover in blue fire while she smiled at him.

He smiled and gave her a nod, peering at the door as it slowly opened, "I contained him in a shell, I can not harm him since he his family..though you.."

Rosa looked inside as the door opened "He dying isnt?...why keep him alive... why not let nature take his course.." she question him as the enter.

He followed her in slowly and shook his head, "When you harvest a quintessence it becomes immortal until someone can kill the physical vessel they live in.."

She nodded as she hold his hand and hugging his arm they walked "I see.."

He smiled to her, hugging her tightly, and whispered, "With a half angel...it can be done easily by the softest touch.."

She lightly poke him chuckling softly to try and get that serious look off his face "not so effective..huh?"

He grinned and looked away for a moment, "Well lets be thankful only half angels can do it and not full on ones..otherwise this war would be over insanely fast.."

She looked away nodding as they got closer to his brother "youre right sorry.."

He watched the man that was shackled to a large wall, the man smiling up to them, "Thast him.."

She looked at the brother eyes wide open turning to Marquess "Ill follow your orders.."

Marquess stared into the mans eyes, not looking to Rosa as he gave a soft nod, holding out his hand as a dagger formed and he smiled sllightly

She looked at him biting her tongue "you sure?"

He gave her nod and hugged her tightly, "Yes my love"

She smiled nodding while grabbing the dagger off his hand while pressing her forehead on his chest.
