Laus caught her as she fell back, grunting softly as he peered around, his power of magical disruption wouldn't be enough alone to break through the barrier as he had done so frequently in the past, his eyes studied the building before settling back on the woman Rosa talked to.

"You know I cant go in and you know we need your help Ma..please..I need to save him before my father returns or in worst case my mother..please..Im begging you" Ma looked at them both shaking her head as she looked at Gael nodding to him "Come on in.." they let them go into the monastery as Ma walked in front of them "explain yourself young lady..." Rosa closed her eyes taking a deep breath as she has always hate being call that "Ugh..Ma..seriously..."Rosa rolled her eyes as she continue walking "theres not a lot I have to tell you..Youre always a step ahead..but I do need your help and you know that Aphiel is..it was all my fault.."

Ma chuckled softly nodding "Indeed thats why your friend is already taking care of here so dont worry about him but you should rest..no offense but you guys look like crap..Gael take them to her room" Gael nodded walking in front of them once more wrapping her arm around Rosas neck chuckling making Rosa to let go of The Marquess' hand "She never could said no to you huh sis?..well now you should rest" He said as he opened the door to Rosas old room. As Rosa looked inside it send a chill down her body.

Laus peered over the conversation, not quite sure where to stand. As he peered over and felt his hand feel the cool air of the room once Rosa's left his, he raised his hand, holding his chin as he raised a brow, not saying a word. He followed them to her room, peering over her shoulder as his eyes widened, he stepped back, pressing against the wall in the hallway as he had a flashback, seeing the raid one night, one night where he came, not killing any but had a mission to abduct a child, he had slipped through the monestary without anyone knowing, and once he came to that room he saw the baby, knowing he couldn't kidnap the poor child. He realized Rosa was the baby Aphiel had first hired the Marquess to kidnap.

Rosa was chuckling at something Gael said to her when she turn to the Marquess feeling her smile fade away "Are you okay my love?.." she said walking towards him running her finger on his cheek softly.

Laus stuttered softly, closing his eyes as he shook his head, standing up straight and peered at Rosa, "I...just had a bad memory..", he nuzzled against her touch, hugging her softly, "Is this where we are resting tonight?"

Rosa nodded as she pulled him into the room looking at Gael who was standing there next to the door as she closed the door behind them, turning around to see Laus taking a deep breath "well they have Aphiel hes fine so we rest tonight and tomorrow we wait" she said as she sat on the bed rubbing the back of her neck.

While the Marquess sat with Rosa, he gave her a nod before laying back. A low fog began to roll in through the forest, quite common this time of year for the monestary. Within the woods themselves, the Black Knight stood. The tip of his sword was buried in the deep brown soil as he rested his hands on the hilt, the eery helm staring into the darkness as he let out a slow breath. He turned his helmet, gazing at the body of Aphiel laying next to him, "How...tactless to leave their friend all alone, even in death..." His voice faded back into the night as the fallen angel appeared next to him. "Ahh, delightful to see you were not lost my love..", the Knight peered to his wife, she only gave him a nod, kneeling next to Aphiel as she picked up his corpse, her wings extending from her back as she looked up, ascending into the night sky. The Knight turned his gaze back towards the residence of his targets. "Do you...truely deserve this war? It must feel dreadful to know you have brought this upon yourself...", He walked forward, fading away into the darkness of the forest, every so often the distant sound of the faintest scream could be heard. Rosa could feel what was happening, the Knight was hunting angels in Aphiel's place.

Rosa lay next to the sleeping Marquess as she covered her ears trying to ignore the screams, trying to rest next to her Marquess but she just couldnt ignore them. Rosa got up steeping out of the room without disturbing him, walking out to the main door standing in front of it stretching her hand out to grab the handle and open it when she felt Gael's hand touching her shoulder "Don't please.." She turn to him as she was clearly holding back her tears "You know all that is because of me... they want me and only me.. Aphiel's dead..whos next The Marquess...you..Ma?" She shook her head as she started to pace back and forth, her wings spread back as they started to turn black "Leave me please brother I wont leave this place I just need to be alone." she asked Gael just before her body started to cover in flames her gaze locked on the door as she started mumbling building up the rage in her, the magic surrounding the monastery was trying to hurt her.

Blood spewed into the air, the last of the angels sent to silently protect the monastery was slain, his body resting against the tree as the Knight's blade shined in the moonlight. As he took a slow breath in, cloaked men started to walk up towards him, standing behind the red fluttering cape of the Black Knight. As the moon moved towards the horizon, nearing sunrise, he peered over his shoulder. "Aphiel's old acquaintances, it will be truly a joy to hunt with experienced help..", he looked in the direction of the monastery, "Forty angels slain, all in hopes of protecting a simple demi-angel...pitiful...", as he walked towards the monastery, Laus had woken up, looking to Rosa from behind her

Rosa felt the pain of the last of those angels dying putting her on her knees as she put her hand on the floor as a sword appeared under it, slowly getting up Rosa looked at the Marquess her eyes black as night as she shook her head "Hes coming...theres nothing stopping him now..."

Laus peered to her and frowned, moving to hug her tightly as he stayed silent.
The Knight walked slowly from the forest to the monastery, his heavy armor clanked against the soft dirt of the forest. The knight groaned softly as he neared the tree line, the building within sight. As the Knight peered upwards towards the sky, his voice traveled softly through the wind, "My love...what takes you so long in dispelling the barrier to our sweet Rosa...

Rosa turned towards Laus stepping back away from him "Youre awful quiet whats the matter..have I done something?" She asked him as she quickly turned towards the door shaking her head whispering to herself "please stop this..."

Laus tilted his head, parting his lips to speak but was silent. He shook his head slowly and just spoke from pure shock, "D...Do you think I am somehow linked to whats going on out there...Rosa...you know me better than that, I love you...", he closed his eyes, hugging her tightly.

Rosa stepped away from him "you should have kill me when you found me" she looked to the doork again knowing the angel would let the knight in any second "Any second now...you should have killed me why didnt you...why couldnt you finish that simple task Marquess"

"You know I could never do that...you know I love you..", the Marquess shook his head, groaning loudly as he peered around. He opened the door to the monastery, pressing his hands together before kneeling down, his fingers digging into the dirt outside. The sky moved towards a red tinge, and the Marquess's eyes turned black. Slowly, soldiers began appearing in the dim red light. Legions of Laus troops lined the grounds, Laus himself starting to hover in the air, "Its a war he wants...fine.."

Rosa's eyes teared up as she looked at The Marquess "My love…", from the back of the monastery a sweet voice came calling for her "Sweetie.." Rosa turned looking to where the voice came from to find her mother standing there pointing what seem like a white bow shooting it at her, Rosa fell to her knees feeling her blood run down her stomach as she saw a light arrow used by angels on her stomach. Gael came out running towards her opening fire to the angel "ROSA! ROSA!..", Gael caught her holding her while looking at The Marquess.

As Laus studied the impending battlefield, he turned, seeing Rosa falling to the ground as he screamed, "Noo!!!", he fell back to the floor, sprinting into the monastery as a light barrier appeared, stopping Laus from getting to his wife. He slammed his fists against the wall, banging at it roughly as he looked at her on the ground, slowly sinking to his knees as he whispred, "No...no give her back...l...let me be with her...I can save her..."

Gael seeing The Marquess trying to get inside but being stopped by the barrier made his inside turn knowing Rosa could died "MA!!!" He screamed callin her out just to be knock out to her feet passing out as she hit the floor, Gael saw Ma then the angel walking towards him he picked rosa up still aiming for the angel as he walked backwards towards the Marquess. Rosas eyes were running out of light as she was loosing alot of blood.

Laus panted, he knew he could dispel the barrier with his abilities, but it would force his army outside to disappear as well, leaving him alone to face the Knight and his armies. As soon as Laus saw Rosa suffering however, he immediately dropped the barrier, running to her side as he covered the wound on her stomach with his hand, looking up at the angel that shot her, "Get back!"

Rosa looked at Laus putting her hand on top of his before passing out.Gael ran towards Ma getting her up on her feet as she screamed at the Marquess "Get her out of here" she said before her whole team got between them and the angel.
