Phoenix Willow is an ordinary 14 year old girl, wake up, go to school, come home, do homework, go to bed, repeat. Her life's always been boring. She's never met any of her extended family. Lilah Poole is anything but ordinary. She was gifted with magical powers, her grandparents tried to kill her, and her parents have been declared dead. Lilah was shipped off to live with her Aunt and Uncle Willow. Life continues as normal until Lilah comes across something that suggests that her parents may still be alive...

(Oops, I didn't know it would do that.) "Mom? Dad? Where am I?" She calls out. "Good, you're awake. Your parents are dead and you live here now." The girl with the long black hair tells her. Phoenix Lilah thought, brushing her hair behind her ear and standing up. "Alright, let's get to school, then!"
