Yo! Spooky season is upon us and I wanted to see if I couldn't find some partners for either some terato (Monster lover) rps/ general horror stuffs. Mind you all of this is open for interpretation and I'm willing to fudge some things.
My posts range from 3-4 paragraphs to maybe 6-7 depending on the post, but I can do less if my partner wants. 1-2 being the absolute minimum I'm willing to work with.
ANYWHO, Plots!

~haunted home~
Upon a grisly separation from her family, Gwen takes it upon herself to find a new home. Against the warnings of the townsfolk she sets up to move into an old, long since abandoned home in hopes that she can fix it up and make at least part of the manor into a studio and exhibit for her paintings. However, things don’t go quite as planned when it turns out that there are other beasties living there outside of herself. Be it monster or ghoul, Gwen isn’t exactly prepared to take on the task, but more than willing to seek out options to either assist or banish the entity inside the home.
~monsters in the forest~
Walks in the forest have always been something Gwen did, especially after the incident when she first tried to leave her family. Being in the woods was very much the thing that brought her a small peace of mind. With that in mind she begins work at a small rundown summer camp, fixing it up through the summer and fall for free lodging and employment once the next summer season opens working with the kids. It’s hard work, but it’s quiet and she likes the scenery. As she works, though, it’s clear that something in the woods isn’t as it seems. Something watching her and putting her on edge. It isn’t until she works later than she planned that she first spots the monster. Hidden in the shadows of the barn she was fixing up. The sight was enough to scare her out of her wits, but not to have her run away.
~the thing in the walls~
House Sitting for her brother wasn’t exactly what Gwen had in mind when she decided to return to her hometown after the death of her grandmother. However, she wasn’t one to turn her twin away, even if she wanted to. In the end she agrees, but finds things in her childhood home aren’t what they seem. Something scratches at the walls, and she swears she can hear knocking against the wall where her headboard rests at night. At first she figured it must be her reptilian companion, who has the run of the house, but that isn’t quite the case as for the last few nights she had been locking him up to keep him from biting at the corners of walls as if to try and get inside. Whatever lies in the walls, it doesn’t entirely seem malicious, however, it still very much scares her as things begin to go missing or moving around and the sounds become more and more part of her daily life.
~haunted painting~
Paintings are a part of a painter’s soul. This much Gwen Thawe believes firmly. So, when a local thrift store obtains a stack of paintings, she’s only too happy to bring them home for the small price the stack was given. one in particular catches her fancy, and she immediately falls for it. It becomes the centerpiece to the room given to her by her grandmother for painting. Sometimes it feels like the painting is watching her, perched above the fireplace, keeping an eye on her as she works. Every time she pours her sorrows onto canvas, the painting is there, every time she lays in a heap sobbing over her lost works after her brother destroys them, the painting was there. It’s become a friend, as silly as it sounds. Soon, though, things start happening. She begins spending more time in the room, sleeping there and swearing to god she can feel someone brush her hair away from her face at night. her brother ends up getting hurt, one day and swears to god he was pushed. But no one is ever in that room. Who would have pushed him?
~the monster under the bed~
For as long as Gwen could remember she’s been terrified of things lurking underneath furniture. As silly as it is, she had a repeating nightmare as a child of an appendage reaching from under the bed and gently smoothing over her blankets and tucking her in. As a child she remembered it seeming terrifying, like something was taunting her. Returning to her childhood home after the death of her grandmother, Gwen had all but forgotten the appendage under the bed, figuring it as a silly childhood fear. However, upon sleeping in her old bedroom at night, she again hears a sound scratching under her bed and hears something moving. From the shadows a figure shifts, never stepping into the light, but moving from place to place in the shadows of her room, particularly under things. It’s a terrifying figure and as soon as she lays eyes on it, it’s gone. Things like this go on for a time, but then Gwen gets bold, again seeing the appendage raise from under the bed, and she catches it in her hand, uncertain what she’s going to prove by doing this.
