How unusual... Sylvryth thought, listening to the two men talk. Surely Kethual wasn't all Elf, then? Half-elf, perhaps? Oh, she didn't know. But he definitely was not a true elf, that was for certain. She was a bit anxious to find out more about this strange Elf...

"Where do you plan on going next, Kethual?" Sylvryth asked, looking over her shoulder at him curiously. Surely he wasn't so "free spirited" that he simply went along as he please. He must have had some sort of plan on where he would be in the future. After a few moments, she added, "And how do you pay for your travels? Do you have a trade?"

She herself didn't have a trade, persay. Mostly guarding and protecting people was her job. She had a few other abilities which she could use for odd jobs, but not many. Hopefully this Elf would have interesting talents such as reading and translating runes, or perhaps even magic!...though she doubted it. Surely elves having magic was just a thing of children's tales.

As Kethual and Sylvryth carried on their conversation, Erindín rummaged around in one of the saddle bags for something to eat. He'd missed breakfast that morning, purposefully skipping it to avoid the suspicious stares of the innkeeper. It was not uncommon to miss meals while on the road, especially when tracking his foe or being followed in return, so skipping breakfast did not hamper him. But as their journey was still new and their current pace was steady, it was a good opportunity to get a couple of bites in.

He pulled out a firm red apple and wiped it clean with the underside of his cloak. Before he took a bite, he turned his eyes to Kethual.

"Aye," he said cheerfully, his mood in considerably high spirits thanks to finally being on the road again. "Tell us of yourself, Kethual, so that I may tell my friends that I am acquainted with an Elf." He took a bite and added while chewing, unaware of his manners, "I predict I will be met will jealousy from most of them!"
