Avalon sat on the edge of the forest clutching her wounded arm. She was to weak to call out to one of her family members consisting of several different creatures. She let out another groan of pain and examined her arm with a shaky hand. Blood was pouring out steadily, staining her clothes and pooling onto the ground. Shouting echoed through the trees alerting her that her pursuers would be upon her in minutes.

"Please," she whispered into the darkness as her vision clouded. A figure appeared in front of her and picked her up bridal style. Avalon moved around in protest not knowing who this new person was. Black spots dotted her vision and she stopped struggling.

A large golden eye stared at her in the black night and blew air into her face making her turn her head away. She was lifted onto the beast and was followed by the mysterious person. The shouting grew louder and the men chasing her came into view. An arrow shot past them, piercing through the air.

"Don't worry. They won't hurt you," the figure assured her. Avalon's eyes fluttered closed as she lost consciousness but not before she heard the mighty roar of a dragon.

(This started as random writing and now I want to turn it into an rp so if anyone wants to join I need a male character and anyone else that wants to jump in ^.^ enjoy! -Anon)

Ace walks through the woods carrying plants of almost every different color in his hand with an aroma of stench coming from each and everyone of them. Taking his last couple of steps out of the woods he walks into a clearing with his eyes gazing upon a dragon as massive as the cave it was in front of, Ace smiles as he walks past it patting its stomach with no fear in his heart whats so ever "She still sleep?" Ace says to the dragon as he continues walking pass the dragon into the cave. The dragon breaths hard before laying his head down while shrugging its shoulders.

Ace walks to the fire he left in the cave as it gives light showing the women laying down with her wound bandaged. Ace walks over to her checking her wound "What did you do to get this?" he says before getting up moving to the other side of the fire. Grabbing a bowl Ace throws the plants into it and begins crushing them.

A strange aroma hit her in a wave making her nose twitch. The sounds of breathing and crackling of fire further pulled on her senses to wake up. Soon her arm started sending her a dull pain and Avalon opened one eye slightly. She was in a cave and what she believed to be the same person who helped her was near the fire but opposite her. She breathed deeply and sat up from the cave floor. Avalon groaned when she tried to rest her weight on her arms so instead sat Indian style.

Her eyes glanced around the dimly lit cave and back to the man across from her. Her blue eyes were glued onto him like a hawk as she subtly put her hand over the knife in her boot. She grasped the leather sheath carefully and started to pull it out in case this man was hostile though he didn't appear so. "Who are you?" Avalon asked barely over a whisper.

Ace looks across the fire as the women sits across from him with a dagger in her hand "I don't believe that the common curtesy these days is a dagger pointed at you" Ace says continuing to crush the plants "but given your predicament I would probably do the same, so my name is Ace Roano".

Ace stood up and grabs a cup of water being pouring little by little into the bowl with grounded plants making a paste, once done he neals down in front of the girl with the dagger still in her hand "Put this on your wound it won't harm I promise and I suggest you put that dagger away if you don't want my friend to harm you...." Ace says waiting for her to talk "this is when you say your name love"

Avalon looked at him skeptically before returning her blade to it's sheath. "Just know if you try anything that I can slice your throat quicker than you can reach for a weapon," she warned but smiled slightly as if to tease him. "Avalon Kasey." She replied while taking the bowl from him. She nodded as a thanks and peeled away the bandage from her wound. Avalon smoothed the paste out and winced at the strange numbness. She then tore a piece of cloth from the bottom of her shirt and placed it over the wound. She grabbed one end with her teeth and tied the other aroun in a good makeshift bandage.

"How far are we from the part of the forest you found me?" She steadily rose to her feet and brushed off her pants. She looked toward the entrance of the cave to see the sleeping giant that was his "friend." Avalon crossed her arms and looked back at Ace.

"It's OK" Ace said as he stood up quickly seeing how Avalon reacted to the dragon "That's Luna she won't hurt you unless I ask or you threaten her, so just saty on her good side Ava". Walking pass her to come face to face with his back to the dragon "We are a couple of leagues from where we found you but why are you asking this?" said Ace remembering what he saw back there. Arrows came upon them like a rain that would never end if it wasn't for Lunas tough skin she would have died and so would have they.

"So are you going to tell me why you have this wound and why arrow's were being fired upon us....or do you want Luna to ask?"

She smiled thinking the boy mistook her movements to be fearful. "I'm not afraid of her," Avalon said confidently. She walked towards them and leaned against the cave wall. "Those men have been tracking me for a good while now but the reason for it is classified." She swept her black hair out of her face and into a ponytail. "I am thankful for the help but I really can't tell you much about this...predicament." Her smiled faded and a glassy look overtook her eyes.

Avalon reached under her sleeve and took out a black bloody feather with a faded red seal printed on it. She carefully placed it behind her ear and stepped forward to Ace. "If you would be so kind as to let me out of the cave, I'll have my own transportation here shortly." She stared at Luna and avoided Ace's gaze as she waited for a reply.

Ace chuckles under his breath as he turns as walks towards Luna "You have secrets that I can understand but when someone saves your life telling them the everything might benefit you for all you know our interest could be in line" he says while patting Luna on the head as she looks towards Ava. Luna was never once for helping out other people since when ever a person saw her she was soon after sought for by dragon hunters, but Ace knew if he asked she would help be it person or not.

"Now Luna here was almost taken down by a hail of arrows all aimed at her when she had done nothing wrong now how I see it you owe her and explanation doesn't she Luna?" Ace says as Luna fixes her gaze on Ava.

That was before Ace had realized something "What did you mean you transportation would be here shortly?"

She narrowed her eyes and sighed. "My explanation is that they stole something from me and I tried to get it back. Unfortunately there were more guards then expected." She rubbed a hand over her face in exasperation. Then Avalon smirked and cleared her throat. "And before I meant to say let me call my brother." She stepped toward the entrance of the cave and let out a large roar. It sounded strange coming out of a small human girl but it echoed throught the cave. She coughed and took a deep breath before sitting on the ground. "That makes me light headed every time."

Ace looks at Ava with a bewildered face as she falls to the ground breathing hard from that unreal roar spooking Luna, that was something that he only heard come from animals nothing a human could do. "That was something else, never thought I would hear that out a human do something like that" Ace says knelling beside Ava "The thing that they stole I guessing you didn't get it back since their was nothing of value on your person when we brought you here, how about a compromise?...We help you get whatever was stolen from you and you put some coins in my pocket" He says with a smile.

"I'm not just a regular person," she smirked. She stared into his eyes thinking over his offer. "Deal," she stuck out her hand. "The people who stole Amon are highly wanted hunters and thieves so lucky for you theres plenty of money for you."

She pushe a tendril of hair out of her face and back behind her ear. The sound of a small roar sounded in the distance but only reached Avalon's ears. She smiled and motioned for Ace to grab his stuff. "If you want to go then we are leaving soon."

Ace smile hearing they had a deal seeing Avas smile grow with his. As he was about to ask what she meant by her not being human Ava motioned to him to grab his things so they could depart, grabbing his bag Ace fills it with all of the things that he held dear to him including the music box that he had since he could remember.

Standing up with his bag on his back and his sword on his waist he walks over to Ava "What do you mean your not human?"

"Well I am but I wasn't raised by them," she said while strapping her knife more securely in her boot. She then stood back up and pulled up her sleeve. On the inside of her elbow, a strange pattern was tattooed into her skin. "This is what I had when my brother found me as a child. Don't know what it means or how it got there." She pulled it back down and faced the cave entrance. Flapping of wings could now be heard as the creature approached. It landed in front of her and Avalon ran and hugged it's muzzle. The creature opened it's large eyes showing a glowing silver with no pupils. The younger dragon approached Ace cautiously and sniffed him. He looked back at Avalon with a questionable look.

"Don't worry. He's...a friend," she grinned and the dragon returned to her, lowering his head to allow her to mount. She pulled herself onto his back and nodded to Ace.

Ace eyes open with confusion while his mouth smiled with excitement seeing another dragon which could only mean that Ava was a dragon rider like him "You should have tole me your a rider" he says walking to Luna holding her in place knowing she would get defensive be it friend or not "Your the first one I've ever seen I heard there were others but I could never find them"

Jumping on Lunas back Ace looks out into the distance seeing nothing but clear skies "We'll take you back to where we found you...see if you can keep up" Ace said with a smile as Luna takes off into the sky. That was the one thing that Ace wanted to do more then anything when found another rider, fly with one.

Avalon frowned slightly at the mention of her being a rider. "He isn't some pet," she grumbled to herself. She pat his neck and his wings beat raising them off the ground with surprising speed for such a small dragon. "We can keep up can't we Dusk?" she smirked. He turned his head slightly and gave her a toothy grin that only a dragon could pull off. Avalon leaned forward at the same time that Dawn's neck stretched out making them nearly parallel to the ground. They sliced through the air easily and carelessly. As soon as they were flying right next to Luna and Ace, Avalon gave him a mischevious smile. She positioned herself to stand up and spread her arms from her sides with the reign in one hand. She laughed and tilted her head back as the wind whipped her black hair out of it's ponytail.

"Flying is the best stress relief," she said to herself. Dusk let out a roar in agreement causing her smile to widen.

"Your right, it really is the best way relive stress" Ace says looking at Ava as she stands on top of Dawn with her hair flowing through the sky. There was no hint of dear in her whats so ever in standing on top of Dawn which is the way it should be for riders but to Ace there was something more to it then that, like even if she wasn't on a dragon she would still find a way into the sky.

Still gazing upon Ava, Ace knocks himself out of it to look down to Luna "We going to let them have all the fun?" he says with a smile "Lets go!". Luna roars and begins to fly higher into the sky riding the wind to do loop after loop bring a smile to Ace that it always did. Balancing herself out again Ace pulls Luna back to Ava and Dawn "I'll never get tired of that" he said with a laugh.

"I think we're getting close to where we found you tell me where to land"

Avalon looked back at him and pointed down towards a small clearing in the forest. Dusk nodded and began his dive. Avalon smiled to Ace and jumped off of her dragon's back. Her arms spread like a eagle and she closed her eyes. Her eyes opened a couple seconds later and she put her arms by her sides diving headfirst through the sky. Dusk caught up to her side and reached for the reign with one hand and around his neck with the other arm. "That's the only a person can truly fly," she smiled. Less than a minute later Dusk slowed them down and softly landed in the clearing. Avalon jumped off of his back and pet his neck affectionately.

As Luna landed Ace slides off her back with a smug look on his face "What a show off" he says smiling as he pats Lunas neck, she showed the same smug like had "Yea I know but we'll show her something even better soon". Ace walks over to Ava staring at her in a gaze as he did before making sure he was luring at her in a creepy way. "That was really something up there you really have a talent for this" Ace says staring at her then averting his eyes "So you mind telling me why we came back to the same place where not just a couple of hours ago you where near death and I was getting shot at with arrows, you said there was something special that you needed to get...All I see is trees"

She gave him a strange look and said a quick "thanks." Avalon looke over to the tree that she had been leaning against just hours before and then back at the strangely calm forest surrounding them. "The place we need to get to is not accessible by dragons and that's why we had to land here. I would've had Dusk help me if he could land under all of the trees but it's not possible," she explained. Her hand stretched out and pointed North. "Through the trees there's a canyon with thick arched branches overhead. About a mile in that direction and then there's a sort of path going straight to their camp."

She crossed her arms and leaned back against Dusk. Her blue eyes stared at Ace. "But remember, I got caught because I underestimated the amount of hunters." Leaves swirled around them in the cool breeze as she waited for his reponse.

Ace took a deep breath looking to where Ava pointed her finger "OK then we're going to have to do this smart, you already tried to still this thing earlier so these hunters are going to have it close by" Ace says slowly pacing back and fourth as he sees Ava follow his movements "So I suggest we go there and do some scouting for awhile to see where their holding your item and how we will approach getting it without losing our lives"

Stopping to look at Ava he looks at her face "It's only a suggestion if you have another way then please I'm all ears"
