"You sound like my brother," Avalon said with a sad smile. She rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly. She wasn't a very social person and emotional talk wasn't high up on her list of things she avoided. "Well don't worry, you'll get all the money you need for her." Avalon stretched her back and arms out as they fell asleep from not moving for so long. She looked back at Ace and tilted her head slightly.

"Are you ready to get going or did you have other plans?" She asked tapping her lips with her fingers. She stifled.a yawn and shook her head to snap out of her drowsiness.

"You mean did I have something along the line of me laying back like this and slowly fall asleep with a smile on my face because I have a full belly "Ace said smiling while seeing the sour face Ava was giving him "Ava we might as well just sleep for a couple of hours the sun will be up in a little while and it would be easier walking through these woods and watching the hunters camp when there is some light....Come on you know you need it every pretty girl does" he said hoping the flattery will get to her.

She narrowed her eyes at him and smirked. "I would say you need beauty rest more than me." She winke and layed on her back with her hand under neck. She let herself yawn this time and it ended in a sort of squeak. "Sleep is good," she mumbled. One of her eyes closed but the other stayed open watching Ace's movements. Her hand went into her belt and she pulled out her sheathed dagger. Avalon laid it on her chest and kept her hand over it. She typically slept with some sort of weapon in her hand just in case. Every precaution she used could help her in a lot of situations and possibly save her life. "Goodnight then," she said.

"Oh I said mine compliment to flatter you said yours for hate" Ace says as he smiles before he lays back down with the stars shining as bright as the could in the forest. As Ace lays down he sees Ava bring her dagger to her chest smirking as he thought of how he used to be just like that when he meet Luna "Goodnight Ava" he says closing his eyes with the breeze passing him by.

When first light comes up it hits Ace right in eyes waking him up immediately, as he wakes up he looks around to see the forest with the sun out making it much less intimidating. Ace stands up to walk towards Ava bending down to wake her "Ava its time to get going" he says as she still slept "....You actually look nice when you sleep less I want to kill you, alright wake up" Ace nudge.

A hand on her shoulder startled her. Avalon's eyes popped open as she quickly pulled out her knife and put her fist against his chest. "Ah gosh Ace! You can't do that to me," she scolded. She sheathed her knife and laid her head back at the startled look in his eyes. She rubbed her eyes and stretched her arm out asking for him to help her up. As soon as she was on he feet she straightened up her clothes. "Next time just poke me in the cheek and back away," she smiled. "That's how Dusk gets me up when he doesn't want to deal with my daily morning panic." She yawned again and looked at Ace for direction.

"Fine, next time I'll fine a long stick and poke you in the face with it that's less strange" Ace says dusting himself off after falling back surprised by Ava "This way the hunters camp can't be far if those mourns were out here". Ace starts walking through the woods again this time with Ava on his tail he looks back every now and then shaking his head "It can't be her it had to be someone else she has to be wrong" he whispers to himself, as he continues walking he sees a road up ahead "There, that has to be the main road they use to get in and out of the forest if we follow it we should be there in no time"

Avalon grabbed his arm and stopped him. "We aren't going to walk on that road then if thats what you're thinking. Anyways that's not gonna lead us to their stash," she replied. She pointed slightly to the left of the road. "All of their equipment, goods, and money are guarded by a few men in an area over there. Now, since I've already tried to get past those guards there's probably more for extra safety measures." She grabbed a stick off of the road and drew a small diagram. "If we go straight to their camp and just 'watch' as you suggested then we'll end up running for our lives like I did or the slight possibility that I can contain myself and actually watch there moves." Her tone had gone from her normal sarcasm and carefree attitude to a more serious one in seconds.

She circled an area close by the camp and a line near it. "If I can act as bait and get the guards attention from the area where they keep their stuff, that'll give you enough time to get what you and I both need." She dropped the stick an stood back up. "But I'm open to any suggestions that you might have," she said while keeping her straight face.

Ace could see he serious in Avas face but he couldn't help but smirk then chuckle under his breath "No Ava I have no suggestions" Ace said with a smile on his face "You had me fooled there for a second I thought you were all brute force and umping into a fight without thinking but you actually do have a brain up there".
Ace stands up and looks down the road "OK you lead the way fearless leader you know where this place is" he says looking at Ava "And this might be just a small part of the plan but I know what I'm getting when I get in there but what is the item I'm stealing for you?"

At his remark she stuck her to tongue out at him when he turned away. "I just need you to unlock the biggest cage there and that's all I need," she replied. She didn't want to tell him too much and have him turn back on their deal. She started to lead him to the place she had circled on her makeshift map. A couple minutes later, voices start to com from behind the trees. Avalon motioned for him to be quiet. "First we need to get past these big guys," Avalon whispered squatting down. "Past them is the actual guards that we need to get to. Any ideas on how to get through here?" She already had her own ideas but she didn't want to go without his input.

Ace looks at the three men that resembled the men that him and Ava killed last night and thought about how this could all play out "We need to take them down quietly if your plan is going to work we have to have as less moving parts in this any surprises will just mess things up" he says as bent down with Ava in the bushes. At the moment Ace looks around to see if the coast was clear and when it was he need something from but he knew she wouldn't give it to him so he improvised "Ava you know I never thanked you for doing this for me" Ace says getting closer to her "I mean I really should" he leans in for a kiss but instead of taking her lips he takes her dagger from her waist and throws it throw the back of the left man.

Before the man could hit the floor Ace runs with his dagger and sword out stabbing the man in the middle in the back and when the right man turns his head to see what was happening Ace slices his throat so he wouldn't make a sound. Looking back at Ava he sees that sour look on her face "So you want to help me move these dead guys into the bushes or what" he says with a very big smile on his face.

Avalon wiped the redness from her cheeks and nodded bitterly. She lifted up the arms of one of the men and pulled him into the bushes. She dusted off her hands and helped Ace with the last one. Avalon crossed her arms and glared at him as he stood in front of her. "Dirty trick Ace," she said adding nothing more. She turned and stormed off to where the other guards were not looking behind to see if he was following her. As soon as she got to the trees in from of their stash she saw the giant metal cage. "You unlock that one. Their money is in the black chest behind all the men and whatever else you want to take is in the various sacks around there," she whispered pointing to each thing through the bushes.

"I should also warn you that my gryphon might not think you're helping him so just explain you're with me. He'll understand," she added. "My turn now," she turned and looked at the path she was going to run to get the guards away. About 6 large men were sitting around drinking out of a small flask and laughing. "I'll meet you back at the clearing ok?"

Ace smiles as he follows behind Ava as she leads the way to the hunters stash watching how her body gave away how annoyed she was at him. Knelling down while Ava explained what he had to do Ace face gave a look of confusion "A gryphon, you want me to open a cage for a gryphon? do you have any idea how..." he said rubbing his head "Fine just as long as I get what I need"

Ace stood up a saw a better way to get to the stash faster "There's a better spot from there when I give you the signal start distracting them" he says about to move "And by the way it may have been a dirty trick but don't think I didn't see you blush or how you leaned into the kiss a little, it may have been a trick but you didn't know that" he said leaving with a smile on his face. Once at the spot Ace waves his hands to Ava across the way.

Avalon watched him with an angry glint in her eye. "So irritating," she muttered. As soon as he started waving his arms she nodded to him. Avalon moved quietly through the bushes and let out a roar. It wasn't as loud as before so it didn't cause her to feel lightheaded. The men turned and grabbed their weapons quietly coming towards the bush where she was hiding. As soon as they got close enough she jumped out slashing at them wildly. The largest man gave orders and the rest tried to reach out with their swords.

Avalon ran through the bushes and weaves in and out of the trees before looking back towards Ace. She glanced back and met his eyes with a smirk. The screech of her gryphon rattling in the metal cage echoed through the woods as she left.

Ace ran for the stash the moment the hunters weren't in site and the first thing he went for was that chest, the moment he opened it he grabbed every piece of gold that he could but in his pouch not filling it up knowing they might have to do a quick get away "Alright, that's enough" he aid closing the pouch and tying to his belt "I'll be there in no time Sophie, after I'm done with this guy". Turning his head Ace sees the gryphon and it was just like he had always heard about it, it giving off an intimidating feeling with its eyes and its razor sharp talons, stepping to the cage Ace puts his hand on the lock "I'm a friend of Avalon...do not eat me" he says just before unlocking the cage.

At that moment it bust the door open and flew out of the cage while knocking Ace on his ass "Stupid bird" he said before getting on his feet. once it was out of the sky Ace began running to the meeting point avoiding every hunter along the way with a smile on his face gripping the gold every now and then.

Avalon sprinted through the forest, dodging trees and barely outrunning the men. After a few minutes the sound of a screech overhead made her look up. The gryphon looked down at her and then straight ahead signaling her to where he would meet her. She looked back ahead of her and jumped over a fallen log. The grunt of a hunter behind her made her smirk knowing he had ran straight into it. An arrow shot past her making a whooshing noise. Her eyes grew wide when she realized they had switched from short-ranged weapons to bows. Avalon cursed under her breath and picked up speed taking a sharp left turn around a large boulder. Before she resumed her run she glanced to her left and made a sudden stop. The shouting behind her came closer and she decided to squeeze between the crack to hide.

All of the men rushed past her in a flurry and didn't look back. As soon as they were gone she peeked out and turned to run back. What she didn't expect was to find a brick wall in front of her. She landed on her butt and let out a surprised grunt. She looked up just in time to roll out of the way of a sword coming down on her. Avalon pulled out a knife and sliced his knee. The giant of a man fell forward from the sudden pain. She took her chance and ran away towards the location they were planning on meeting. Not long after she leaned against a tree and looked out in front of her to see Ace.

"Sorry it took me so long," she huffed with a tired smile. She then let out a roar letting her gryphon know where she was and that she hadn't followed his plan. "We gotta go."

Ace saw as Ava tried to gained her breath as he watches with a smile and his grip on his pouch "Looks like you had a fulfilling run with your friends back there" he says looking behind her to see the hunters coming into view "Looks like your right we really do have to go follow me". Ace took off running hearing Ava follow behind him he takes his fingers and blows into three times while looking back at the hunters still running after them.

Arrow after arrow flew past them with the hunters hitting almost every tree in the forest Ace knew that the lucky they were having was going to run out until he saw the cliff "Give me your hand and whatever you don't don't let go" he says grabbing Ava's hand as they got into the clearing of the cliff. Seconds later they leap off the cliff heading straight down to the ocean only to get caught by Luna, getting himself seated on Luna Ace pulls Ava in front of him then grabs the rains "Told you we would show you some awesome"

Avalon had wide eyes as she sat on Luna and was gasping for breath as adrenaline rushed through her. "Next time tell me what is going on," she huffed and leaned back against his chest tiredly. She ran a hand through her now messy hair from the wind. They sat in silence too long for her liking so she decided to speak up. "Did you get what you needed?" she asked trying to cut the silence. Although she had said something to him her mind was elsewhere.

'Did he hear my call? Is he still safe?' the questions rolled around in her mind. Avalon wanted more than anything for her gryphon's black wings to show up on the horizon and confirm that he was ok but she saw nothing. She bent her head down and groaned in exhaustion.

Ace laughs while holding Ava up feeling her still catching her breath now realizing that it probably wasn't the best thing to jump off of a cliff "I'm sorry I pushed you to much but you have to admit that was pretty cool" he said turning the rains guiding Luna "Yea I got what I need and I think you gryphon heard you I mean it should have it flew off in your direction the moment I open it cage so if you don't see it know it will show up eventually either way we kind of don't have time to wait for it I have to be somewhere right now you can call it when we land"

After riding for a couple of minutes Luna lands a mile outside of a town with a castle over looking it "Alright I have some business I have to handle in town, what do you want to do?"

Avalon looked at the town with a strange longing in her eyes but quickly snapped out of it. "Um I should probably wait for Amon. I don't want him to worry about where I am," she rambled on rubbing her neck awkwardly. In truth she hadn't been in a town for such a long time and she wanted to explore the streets. Her hand absentmindedly reached for the hidden cloth bag in her pocket. She ran her fingers over the gold pieces and coins wanting to invest them in new weapons and clothes as she was in a shortage of both.

Ace looks at Ava as she watched the city showing an expression in her face that he hadn't seen in her at all since they meet "Alright, are you sure you don't want to come I mean its really nice there and....I would like my sister to meet you, she would love to see someone other then me Luna and those dam nuns" Ace had said with a smile at Ava. Ace wanted her to come not just for Sophie but if a person is away from people for to long they can turn into something that other people couldn't trust and he could see that might be happening to Ava.
