Halloween was Xander's forte. Lover of all things horror related and sweet treats, it was a holiday that he absolutely couldn't pass up. Despite that, the male was in no mood to go to any parties, and he had instead opted to sit on front steps of his apartment building, a large bowl of candy and his life-sized skeleton companion named Jerry (dressed in a fake gold chain and black sunglasses) propped next to him. He was content to sit and watch the passerby's, some dressed in costumes and others not, all making their way down the street in a hurry.
His costume was rather simple: All black clothing accompanied by black and white skeleton face paint. Despite this he was proud, and rightfully so. The makeup had turned out pretty well for someone who had barely any experience in doing so, and he sat there beaming at what a good job he had done, passing out candy and waving the hand of Jerry at random people on the sidewalk. Sure, he wasn't used to having a simple Halloween and was surprised at his reluctance to attend any of the festivities he was invited to, but he kinda liked this -- He had already given out candy to several bad-mouthed kids and an old lady who refused to leave until he had given her almost half of his candy bowl.
With the treats rapidly dwindling, he couldn't wait to see what other Trick or Treaters the city would cough up at him and Jerry.

Echo was dressed as a vampire. She was walking around, when she noticed her friend Xander. Echo bounced over and waved at him, greeting him.

His eyes lit up upon seeing her, a smile curling his lips as he leaned towards his purple-haired friend. “I didn’t think you’d come around, Echo.” He replied, tossing a random piece of candy to her.
