Kamenwati (played anonymously)

Kamenwati sighed happily as he walked through the forest. With the sun setting it looked like he was going to have a peaceful day for once. Still, a place to sleep would be nice...

His silent wish was seemingly granted by the decrepit old castle he found, rising up out of the forest like a wave rises from the sea.

"Looks abandoned." He mutters, making his way inside. Might not be a bad place to rest for a while...
Glaceia (played by Katia)

Glaceia was in the center tower of the castle and sitting on the floor playing. The room looked like it had at one point belonged to a very rich woman with a cracked mirror, once lavish four poster bed, dresser, and a few moth ball covered gowns on the floor, but now the whole room was covered with ice. The ghostly child didn't care about her surroundings however and was happily rolling a ball of ice to an ice doll and then using telekinesis to make the doll roll the ball back to her.

Kamenwati would likely notice an unnatural chill in the air and might even hear the sound of a child's laughter if he ventured further into the castle. Then the closer he moved toward the tower, the colder it would get until he would start to see frost on the walls and floor.

Glaceia however would be oblivious of his approach unless he made a rather loud sound as she was fully engrossed in her play.

"Strange.. It was warm outside." He thought as he noticed the frost. What had he stumbled across? He tensed up as he started creeping forward, hands undoing the hidden buckles at his sides just in case he needed to make a quick getaway.

His mind raced through the creatures he could remember that effected their lairs like this. Ice devils sprang to mind immediately, as did two dragon species. This could become a very bad day very quickly if he wasn't careful. He readied his magic when he heard the sounds coming from up ahead, but they were too... rhythmic?

Still moving as quietly as he could, he moved on to investigate, lightning form in his hands when he peeked around the corner and saw...

"A little girl?" He said aloud, shocked.
Glaceia (played by Katia)

[Sorry I have been distracted lately.]

Glaceia grew bored of rolling her ice ball and decided on a new game. She stood up, then started to throw the ball into the air and catching it. It was in the middle of this that Kamenwati peeked into the room and spoke rather loudly.

This had the effect of scaring the specter, making her fumble the ball and said ball shattering like ice upon hitting the ground. Then because her ball broke and because she had been scared, she started to cry. This turned out to be a rather unfortunate development as almost immediately after she started crying, the temperature in the room dropped another twenty degrees. Then a sudden wind picked up and threatened to blow the man off his feet. Yet he was lucky to a point as the child hadn't been frightened too badly so her powers were not reacting too violently.

He pushed the bitterly cold wind aside with his own magic wind and took a step forward, unsure of what to do other than try and get this girl to stop crying. Soon even the cold would effect him if the temperature kept dropping like this!

"Please stop crying!" He could hear the frost cracking and falling from his robes now. "I didn't mean to scare you!"

[Is his magic visible and if so, what does it look like?]

[his magic is based around storms, so unless the wind she's making has frost in it, there's nothing to show that the wind from Kam is stopping hers.]
Glaceia (played by Katia)

Glaceia didn't notice that her wind was being stopped by Kamenwati's. In fact she wasn't really aware that she had created a rather serious situation for him. As it was, his apology did seem to have a small effect as the rate at which the temperature was dropping slowed, but didn't stop. Her winds also weakened a little, but it was abundantly clear that he was going to have to do more then that to calm the ghostly child. After all, she was shy when it came to men and he had scared her. So she continued to cry as her powers ran amok around her.

This wasn't getting him anywhere! How could such a small child be this strong? Bracing himself, he shouted a spell to make a thunder crack, hoping to startle her long enough to get her to calm down. He couldn't handle this level of cold for long...
