No wonder her practitioner was hiking up her bill. It was a pain for sure, and that coin-pinching old man was always looking for new ways to charge for even a silver or two more. Restraining the urge to click her tongue in frustration, she focused on Kiran's rant, taking another swig from the bottle.
"Would that people were more noble-hearted and honest in a field that is a necessity. These are lives they're toying with." Rosaline chimed, nodding in agreement at Kiran's words. "It's a crime to not have the prices unstandardized, or have some sort of healthcare promised to the commonwealth."
"But I take your words to heart. The next time my practitioner hikes up my bill for something so small as an extra gauze, I'm going to punch him in the throat."

“I know! we are supposed to be helping people when they most need it but it wouldn’t surprise me if the nobles and whatnot had their hands in the majority of the doctors back pockets…” He growled slightly in frustration. “Thats why I can’t stand the practitioners association as well, corrupt the lot of them.” he placed an elbow on the table and propped up his chin in the palm of his hand. “I’m not exactly popular amongst my peers..” not that he liked them much either.
“Well if your ever in my neck of the woods ask around for the Askew twins and you’ll find I won’t have a price list that warrants a punch in the throat.” he shot her a cheeky grin. “Though for your sake I hope you don’t require speciality treatment.” He was not the specialist that most wanted but often came from a place of desperation.
He mulled over his little rant and sighed, reaching up to try and tame his bed hair into something more reasonable. A half dressed, scruffy man ranting in a tavern was NOT a good look for him.

As i came out with two hot tea's i slid them over to the two "On the house, today is a special day and a drink or two shouldn't be bought". I then put away my apron and sit my self on the bar top "So you need medical supplies? i know where to buy them in bulk for a quite fine price". "Also there's a heat dryer in your room for your clothes, Also you said your from one of the bigger cities right? well that's where i'm going too so lets get acquainted i'm Jackson rampart you can call me jack and you are?. i say with a long pause.
The vixentaur set her half eaten food aside while avoiding the barkeep’s glare. She picked up her stuff and headed out the door to the outside.
"Alas, such is the way of things; stand in the way of the rich and powerful, and risk being crushed underfoot. One of many reasons why I stick to small businesses and steering away from more famous practitioners, but even then that has its troubles." Rosaline replied, grumbling under her own breath. Power was an all too familiar sight, one that despite her best efforts, had no real sway over.
"I might take you up on that offer someday-- you've been so honest and forthcoming so far, and I feel better taking my coin to more humane practitioners such as yourself."
"Oh, so you have a twin, too? Now that's uncanny." She said, before perking up to the barkeep who announced himself. "That's nice, I'm in need of a heat dryer, myself. Rain did a number on me on the way. Do you have a spare room?"

He smiled when the tea arrived “Thank you Sir and what’s so special about today?” he was curious. At the mention of the heat dryer he went quiet and tried to remember if he saw anything like that last night. Blaming the fact it was late in the night and he was tired and soggy he most likely missed it completely.
“Dr Kiran Askew, but Kiran will do just fine.” offering his name over to the barkeep. “I should probably get those clothes on the heater then, can’t sit around in a blanket all day. Sooner their dry the better.” saying out loud to no one in particular.
He gave Rosaline a look as if to say ‘seriously?!’ at the mention of being a twin. What were the chances of that? “Yeah I do, she’s the older one sadly…but she’s a godsend when it comes to book keeping and procurement”

Rosaline was mid-drinking her cup of tea when Kiran addressed her, and almost choked. "You're the younger twin, too? Now this is ridiculously uncanny."
"Your older sister sounds like a delight, the blessing of a family that works together is one to positively envy over. I have an older brother in one of the cities serving as a knight, but it's been near a decade since we've spoken to each other-- sometimes people just drift apart." She continued, drinking her tea. "At least he's doing well for himself, last I heard."
Then, she turned her attention to Jackson. "And what sort of business do you have in the nearest city?"

“Only by six minutes I must point out! but she lords it over me as if she’s far older.” he grumbled into his tea. What were the chances of finding another younger twin in a tavern in a small village like this? “She is at times but most of the time I would love to not see her for a decade!” he frowned, knowing he couldn’t run his business without her but would love a break from her bossy nature
Setting his tea down, still more than half in the cup, he hopped off his seat. “Let me go put my clothes on the heater quickly.” Kiran trotted back upstairs with his blanket, headed over to his room and looked around. The heater in question was right next to the desk where he’d put his sword. It couldn’t of been more obvious. Grabbing his shirt and trousers again to test if they were dry and shaking his head at the unsatisfactory findings.
He’d throw the clothes over the heater then wander back down to his seat to find Rosaline talking to the barkeep about his business.
Returning to sit he’d pick up his tea once again.

Rosaline said nothing, but instead laughed into her cup. Be careful what you wish for, she wanted to say, but held her tongue. He probably meant his words in jest, and not wanted his sister gone for good.
She tilted her head, acknowledging the man as he left to do his laundry. Hopefully there would be an extra room for her to set her soaking leathers out to dry. Still feeling the chill of the rain, all Rosaline wanted now was to curl up into something soft and warm, then fall asleep for at least half the day.
Quietly welcoming Kiran's return with a raise of a teacup, she said, "Wish this had some booze in it."

He smirked at her comment “It’s still early how long have you been awake?” giving her a somewhat bemused smile as he drank his own tea. “Can’t say I’m much of a drinker myself..” But that didn’t mean he didn’t have his own vices or bad habits. Some glaringly obvious under the blanket he covered himself in.
“Got any plans for the rest of the day?” he inquired. He mulled over in his head potential things he could do once his clothes were dry. Visit the apothecary, stop by a few other shops for materials then maybe back to this inn for the evening and off in the morning. He had the most serious look on his face as he planned out his day, not realising he was doing such.

"Since the night before last." She said, surprisingly forthcoming, and sipped away at more tea; must be getting tired. Stakeouts were horrible, and that wasn't the worst of it.
"Plans for the day are to first and foremost, get some shut-eye. Then..." Rosaline said, before catching from the corner of her eye, at the utmost serious look on Kiran's face as he presumably pondered into what could be the secrets of the bloody universe itself with such a strict mien. He was such an amusing person, a great find in what she thought was so dreary a town between cities. Very curious.
"...Maybe a visit to that apothecary, look for some poultices and draughts. I doubt we'll bump into each other, but if we do, don't be a stranger, yes? Kindly share a drop of your vast knowledge with the rest of us uninformed."

Both eyebrows raised as he finalised the mental maths in his head counting from the night before last. Despite having done so himself a few times it still surprised him only because is was so exhausting. How she was still functioning and talking was a mystery to him.
“Once everything's dry I’ll go to the apothecary myself then I’ve got some other materials to buy. Back here for the night then off to the city by sunrise.” Waving his hand dismissively at this boring schedule. For someone who had nothing to do no less than a few hours he’d now managed to make himself busy.
“ I hope the rain has eased up by now...” if not he’d have to go out without his coat. No point getting it soaked a second time. “You should really get some rest...” pointing out the obvious.

"Once I get a room, Doctor, I promise the first thing I'll do is catch up on sleep." She said, finishing the last of her special occasion tea in a gulp, before Rosaline pushed the tea set up the counter.
"Well, you sound like you've got your day planned out and ready. Do take care to not slip in the mud, though! Would hate for you to have to go about wandering in your blanket second time." Smiling, Rosaline reached into her pockets once again to unfurl a stringed pouch, pinching some pieces of coin from it.
After pulling out enough for a meager room, she placed it in front of Jackson. "Is this enough?"

I push back the coin "Don't worry about it the bar keeper doesn't come until 5 so you have some time to sleep" as i throw her a key, i then get down under the bar pulling out things of mine Including. A large bag, A Flintlock sort of pistol, Ammo, pieces of wood and metal, some chemicals, and a sheathed sword the sheath being made out of a fine black leather, and the hilt with a cool silver color not incredibly shiny but not dull either a perfect mix the guard then sloops down 2 inches the hilt also has a two finger trigger on it and the hilt is covered in a black grip tape neatly weaved back and forth between each other. i stand by the door waiting for Kiran so he could show him where to buy the medical supplies and go back to the city.
Catching the keys with a set look on her face, she made a mental note to lodge a complaint to management of not being afforded the basic hospitality of simply passing the keys, instead of having them thrown to her face.
"Well, that's my queue. If you two gentlemen would excuse me, I have an appointment with my sleep debt."
Quietly, she took back her coin and tried not to let her eyes linger on the innkeep's weapons, especially for what presumably was a walk through the village. The need to resort to being armed at all was suspect to say the least, and the fact that they have seen regular use.
"Have a nice day."

“Thats good to hear” he smiled at the idea of Rosaline getting some sleep. “Yeah I rather not travel home caked in mud, I won’t hear the end of it...”
Finishing off his tea he pushed the cup forward and got up. “Look at that, free room. Good night then miss.” Bowing his head a little to her. An interesting woman who was definitely a lot more under the surface than she appeared, he’d figured that much out. “Thanks for the tea.”
Heading upstairs as the barkeep was pulling out his equipment Kiran returned to his room.
Woollen coat still damp, it would take much longer to dry than the rest of it.
After a few moments he stepped out of his room once again. Wearing a white shirt and dark green waistcoat, brown trousers and black knee high leather boots. His belt was covered in pouches and bags and a sword that looked like it was put to use frequently, still stained and improperly cleaned from last time.
This was much better than wandering around in a blanket!
Coming back down he saw Jackson waiting by the door. “I know where to go but if your heading that way then alright.”

Mercy walked into the inn after a long day of stealing fro-i mean trading with local merchants. Her cabin on the ship had become flooded from their last battle with royal patrol ships, so she decided a warm bed in this town couldn’t do any harm.
She was was short in comparison to others in the inn, (except for knomes or pixies), but her reputation clearly preceded her. As she walked in people either cowered in fear at the legendary outlaw, or whispered tales to astonish that were told of her battles on the sea.
She sat down at a table and kicked her feet up on it. After a few minutes of staring by the customers and whispers by some of the staff, Mercy rolled her eyes and yelled,
“Cant anyone get a girl a rum and a room in this place!”
