The night was cold, wind battering through the damp streets, dappled with snow here and there. Early winter, where snow began to fall and it wasn't too warm or too cold. Like the ambient of the city in the background the streets were busy with vehicles driving on by and small groups of people bustling along the sidewalks all bundled up cozy on their way to hang out in some bar. The taxi pulled up to the sidewalk, lurching gently to a stop. The cab door opened, a darkly dressed woman stepping out from the warm inside. Gloved hands stuffed into the cozy looking jacket, her hood was up concealing most of her vibrant hair. Shutting the cab, she glanced around as she stepped up on the sidewalk with her boots stained with salt that had been laid out on the roads. With the cab driving off, the woman drew out a piece of paper from the inside of her pocket reading an address to the "Ares". Like other groups of people looking to hang out, she was in search of a bar. Peering left and right up and down the street, she began to walk to the right, down the street assuming it was this way. Eventually she'd find it. she had plenty of time, indeed.
Inside the bar it was hectic. People everywhere having a good time with old friends, new friends, strangers, and the staff were energized by the peoples mood aswell. There were people playing pool on one side and darts on the other. College students and non college folk danced to the celebrity DJ blasting his wide variety of dance music from dubstep to house to popular radio hits. The bar had the most attention ofcourse, it was ran by two young men one with messy white hair and green eyes and the other with long wavy black hair with yellow eyes.
The two young bartenders bobbed their heads and moved their bodies to the music with smirks on their face as they served drinks to the customers one after another. "here you are ladies" the green eyed bartender said with a smile and winked making the women giggle and blush. The yellow eyed bartender on the other end of the bar flipped liqour bottles and popped the tops off beers with ease grinning and then taking shots with friends, men, women, and other customers wanting to drink with him. They both served and entertained the crowd of customers knowing that the evening was just beginning.

With the feeling of music pounding through the floor from the outside, Deirdre soon laid her eyes on the place. Looking it up and down, she smirked to herself as she put her hands in her coat pockets, avoiding the look of those who were smoking outside and talking with their buddies. Stepping in, she felt that wave of warm air hit her and she sighed quietly as the door closed behind her and she walked on into the bar, likely passing a bouncer. She looked old enough. Now entering the main area and seeing the people she almost cringed outwardly though she wouldn't show it. Whoever she was looking for was going to be a challenge with this many people in such a hectic bar. Despite the bar itself being crowded she could've used a drink. She slipped past groups of kids eventually reaching the bar where she eyed a group of drunken college kids for a minute before facing away from the direction of people taking out her phone to check if the tattoo cover up had stayed. Damn, she hoped it wouldn't melt off or anything. She stood at the bar, a few college kids likely moving away from her before she waved her hand to a bartender with a friendly smile. From the looks of it she didn't look like a little college girl who would giggle and flirt.
The two bartenders continued to entertain the crowd of customers. They danced while serving beverages to men and women. The crowd was lively at this point of the night the bartenders and customers drank shots together and celebrated this energized evening. women began climbing on the bar top and dancing. The bartenders laughed and slapped hands as they then both handed some women bottles to pour shots in customers mouths. The green eyed bartender kept serving drinks and being playful with some customers when he looked over to see a women by his end of the bar waving with a friendly smile. the bartender then walked over to her and stared in her eyes with his and gave a smile "hi miss what can I get ya?" he asked
It always seemed like whenever she went to a bar it was lively like this. Well exclude a few, but those weren't important. She must've been jinxed whenever she was on the job. She leaned onto the counter dropping her hip as she watched people drinking shots and those girls climb up onto the bar giggling and dancing, the redhead made a face as if she was impressed they could even stand on the bar with those heels on and rolled her eyes slightly at the sight of male customers howling for a minute. Soon when the bartender caught her wave she drummed her hands on the bar a second with a grin. "Hello. Black Russian with ice, please." she smiled gently glancing in the direction of the crowds, amber eyes examining her surroundings further though her eyes soon returned to the bartender as to not be rude.
The Green Eyed bartender smiled "good choice coming right up miss" he said. He then walked to the shelf behind him and grabbed a glass and scooped ice into it about halfway. He then grabbed the ingredients he needed from the first and third shelf and mixed the drink. He poured a bit more alcohol making it stong. After he finished making the drink he turned and walked back to the woman and smiled as he handed her the glass "hear ya go miss this ones on me. Anything else?" He said with a smile
The redhead grinned back and watched as he made the drink though blinked with slight surprise when he said the drink was on him. "Oh thank you!" She said taking a sip of the drink though almost tempted to ask if the bartender had seen her 'suspect' but there was no point. Many people come and go. Looking around a moment she chuckled. "No thank you. Usually this lively around this time?" The woman eyed a certain group.
"your very welcome miss." the Green Eyed Bartender said. He then looked over to his coworker, watching him serve drinks and shots to people. He then turned back hearing her question "yeah usually from thursdays to saturday were really busy. Im also guessing the weather has a positive effect on buisness for us too. People want to go out have some fun and have some drinks but the clubs are to far. Ares is close, friendly, always fun and filled with enery, has great specials and of course awesome bartenders." he said with a wink. As he talked a women dancing on the bar not to far from them spilled her mixed drink on the counter splashing everywhere, but not reaching them. "whoa haha okay miss i need you to get down now" he said laughing as he then grabbed a towel and started to clean up the mess "miss you might want to be careful, im assuming its your first time to this bar. It gets pretty wild here so watch out, we dont want you getting soaked or anything" the green eyed bartender said looking at the redhead woman.
Deirdre bobbed her head and chuckled. "Yeah, I've noticed. Quite a nice place, wish I found it sooner." she looked to the stumbling woman and snickered to herself, likely left unheard over the music and many voices in the bar. She took a sip at her drink and shook her head. "Mmh. Don't worry about me, I've been to plenty of bars, I think I know what to avoid." She grinned at him jokingly before she reached into her pocket, taking out the note. The redhead read it over, keeping it to herself. It was the description for who she was looking for. The only notable feature she thought worth noting was a tattoo on the back of the neck, looking something like a snake. Well what an idiot they were. They would be easier to find this way unless they were smart and wore tattoo cover up. Deirdre sipped at her drink. Well, this was going to be fun. Picking up her drink, she moved along the bar, avoiding some enthusiastic college kids before approaching an empty table where she sat on one of the high stools, continuing to gaze around as she drank. Not a lot of people would notice that she seemed to be scanning the crowd.
The Green Eyed bartender smiled at the woman's statement "haha yeah thank you very much. Im glad you like it and hey you found it now and late is better then never haha." The yellow eyed bartender then shouted for his partner "Warren, Hey Warren come over here we got customers wanting to take shots with us" The yellow eyed bartender shouted. "haha I don't doubt you can handle yourself but its always politely to give friendly advice specially to lovely women" he said when he then heard his coworker " okay Salem Hear I come" he shouted back as he turned back to the red headed woman and seen her reading something "well duty calls miss, excuse me" he said.
Warren made it over to Salem's side of the bar and came to find some women and a few men grouped together "ahh new customers huh? hopefully you all become new regulars after tonight" he said with a smile as Salem poured shots for them all and handed them out. "come on bro haha" Salem said as Warren took the shot glass from him. Warren looked at the group one of them had seemed like they had something bothering them. he shook his head and smiled "cheers" he said as the all taped their shot glasses together and sucked down the liquor and slammed the glasses to the counter. Warren looked back at the troubled customer noticing the shot glass was still full

That one was a woman dressed in leather, dark brown eyes and short blonde hair. She didn't terribly stand out compared to the crowd but she kept her jacket on, over her turtleneck that was up higher then it looked like it should be. The woman seemed wary though not noticing the redhead's striking eyes, peering around as she drank. The blonde woman's friends laughed before one of them put a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, come on relax!" The woman brushed her friend's hand away as she leaned onto the bar. Deirdre happened to hear this and glanced over slightly. Seeing the woman who seemed out of spirits she blinked slightly and watched her for a minute. The blonde's back was to her and Deirdre particularly noticed how her neck was covered. The redhead looked over the description once more and tapped a finger on the table looking back at the woman here and there. Deirdre wouldn't have to worry about the person noticing her. If it was her target then she wouldn't know who was coming. The blonde woman shifted slightly and Deirdre made sure to look down into her drink whenever she looked in her direction.
Warren and Salem continued to serve customers and party along with them as they drank shots and worked. Warren notice the woman in the leather jacket and turtle neck. he laughed to himself and shook his head as he walked to the woman as she leaned on the counter "miss i noticed you didnt take your shot is everything okay? You must be hot wearing a turtle neck and a coat if you'd like i can put your coat underneath the bar and you can get it back later so you dont sweat to death." he said with a smile extending his hand. As Warren talked to the woman at the bar Salem seen two man arguing in front of the pool table "oh no we got trouble, i take care of this take care of the customers brother" he said as he quickly walked out from behind the bar and to the arguing men. Warren took orders and watched on making sure nothing escalated.
With the woman looking around though not expecting anyone else to speak to her she flinched and turned to the bartender in a whirl then sighing in relief. "Oh! I'm fine really. I'm probably not going to stay long..." she simply said as eyes were attracted to the arguing. Deirdre had taken her eyes off the woman to gaze at the two men a moment. Both looked like the sported tattoos however were not any of which matched the description. The nervous woman looked back to the floor not long after and Deirdre kept her eye on her until the woman started to go towards the bathroom. Deirdre would stand up, chugging her drink as she had begun to follow her inside.
Warren watched carefully as the two men were interrupted by Salem. Warren shook his head and smiled as he went back to serving drinks. He looked over to where the woman in the leather coat was and seen that she had disappeared "Hmm she really wasnt staying long" he said to himself as Salem returned to the bar and pat Warren on the back "I thought it was gonna get ugly for a minute but I calmed them down. They got one chance left and if they blow it theyre banned" Salem informed Warren of what happened. Warren smiled at his brother "I thought we were going to have to kick some ass for a second haha" Warren said jokingly
Once inside the bathroom, Deirdre had went into a stall one away from the woman and waited for her to come out, preparing a small rope she carried in with her. When the blonde had come out and walked over to the sink, hunching over Deirdre walked out calmly at first. The blonde turned slightly seeing her and Deirdre smiled as she walked up to the sink by her, causing the woman to fidget. Well until Deirdre suddenly threw the rope around her, binding the woman's arms and tied it up just tightly enough so the woman wouldn't thrash. Deirdre put her hand over her mouth as the woman struggled for a moment, panicking. The redhead, pulled down the back of the turtleneck and saw the tattoo. "Well hello, Hailey." She said, that friendly look of hers long gone. "You know why I'm here. Now where is it?" She moved her hand so the woman could speak but she said nothing before attempting to bite Deirdre's hand. The redhead smirked and chuckled. "Ah, ah, ah. Bad girl. You better tell me now before I make this more difficult for you, Hailey." The redhead frowned as the blonde thrashed around a bit and Deirdre held her tight, clearly much stronger then she was. "Hm.. Alright." She grumbled and she drew a knife to her neck. Then of all times she was to be interrupted by a drunk girl wandering into the bathroom and letting out a scream throughout the club. She swore to herself. It was going to be one of those nights.
Warren and Salem Continued serving drinks and taking shots with customers. It was now 2am and the bar would close in an hour. Warren and Salem waved at the dj and pointed to the clock and as the dj seen them both give the signal he switched the music to some hard house and grabbed the microphone "Hey everyone listen up if you want to win the hour last drop special, which is an hour of free drinks be the first person to name the artist of the song. Hurry up folks times running out" the dj exclaimed. Warren and Salem then grabbed bottles of Liquor and climbed up on the bar and started dancing and pouring shots down into men and womens mouths. Single women grabbed at them both as the bartenders laughed and served them. When Warren finished his bottles he dropped back down behind the bar to get new ones, until her heard a faint scream comming from the back of the bar towards the bathrooms and seen some people looking towards that direction. Warren tapped Salem and signaled he would be right back as he then quickly tried to make his way to the bathrooms trough the crowd of people...
With Deirdre distracted, the blonde had her chance to escape her grasp, suddenly thrashing around violently, the rope came undone as Deirdre hadn't tied it tight enough and the blonde elbowed Deirdre in the stomach. Dropping the knife she wheezed. "Jesus!" she groaned as the woman started to run out of the bathroom, Deirdre gained her footing again and grabbed the woman's leather jacket throwing her to the wall, throwing a few punches so she could get a grasp on the blonde again. The woman growled lowly as she threw a few punches back and continued to trash around. The door swung open with the blonde tripping Deirdre's legs from under her and shoving her out into the crowd of people, now attempting to run past in a hurry to escape. Deirdre yelped covering herself so she wouldn't get trampled and quickly tried to stand up to see where her target had gone. It would've been hard to get out of the really quickly with this many people here.
