Xeron had just finished up remodeling the place. It's a nice world he's at, so he decided to have a place to go back to once in a while. To, relax and have fun. He had read up about the history of this world and it's holidays, one that stuck out the most was Halloween. Not just because of the candy and sweets, or even the fact that it's an excuse for buying more candy than necessary. It was because this holiday was getting closer, and he wanted to use this chance to see if he would fit in around here, or just be the house nobody visits.

He was very excited, he already had a small closet full of trash bags full of candy wrappers. Xeron had grown quite fond of candy corn. He would often sprinkle some on some chocolate iced donuts. It didn't taste too bad that way, either. Xeron's house was small, but likable. It looks like it has a fresh coat of white paint on it's outside, he didn't want it to look too out of place. He also made his own "Halloween Frights" that he'd put up on his front lawn.

Inside his house were four main rooms, the kitchen, the living room, his bedroom, and a guest room. The living room's coffee table had lots of candy packed on top of it. The candy towered over the couch and looked like it may fall. Luckily, most of that was given away to kids, or eaten by Xeron. Despite that, there was still quite a lot packed onto that small table. Xeron waited on the comfy chair right beside the coffee table with a bucket of candy by his side, ready for any Trick or Treaters. If he'd sat on the couch, the candy would have blocked his view of the small TV screen, playing some "Halloween movie marathon" of some sort.

Jason smiled as he approached Xeron's house. Today was the one day of the year he felt like he actually fit in! He was dressed in his regular ripped blue jeans and faded flannel shirt, a beanie on his head with holes in it to allow his ears to hang out. He was also wearing a small collar that said "Jason" on it. He had already been to several houses, but his pillow case suggested otherwise. He only had a few piece of candy in it, mostly from the man that lived in the alley next to him. Most of the people here already knew what he was and was scared of him, not letting their children around him either.

Wrapped up in his thoughts, he walked up to the door. Avoiding most of the Halloween decorations was pretty difficult considering there was quite a lot in the yard, but he made it to the door. Gathering up his courage, he rang the bell.

Xeron got up immediately as the door rang, knocking over a small table right next to him and pushing a small box of candy over. He quickly fixed the mess and grabbed the bucket of candy. He put on a crazy grin and opened the door. "Hello! Glad you came! I've got plenty of candy! Oh, nice costume, supposed to be anything in particular?"

He held out the bucket of candy, which you could see a large variety of candies in. You saw Hersheys, Reeses, a couple miniature boxes that you think said 'donut holes' on it, milk duds, sour gumballs, and much more. "Go ahead and take as much as you'd like, or need. Don't worry! I've got a couple more buckets just like this in the kitchen!"

Jason was surprised when the door suddenly snapped open, but smiled and yelled "Trick or Treat." She shifted uneasily on his feet when the man asked who he was dressed up as, and Jason made the assumption he was new. "Just me..." He mumbled, grabbing 3 piece of candy. He wasn't too picky on the candy, and he didn't eat that much candy either.

"Just you? I've never heard of that one... I may need to look it up. World history is so difficult to learn wherever I go. So much lore, creations, people, moments, memories..." Xeron opens up a random pack of candy and starts snacking. "You seem like a nice kid. Where'd you get the ears? From one of those shops? That's weird, isn't it? How people sell ears at shops... I mean, don't you already have ears or something?" Xeron sits down on his porch steps just chewing on some candy, he closed the door behind him, too.

"Maybe... Just maybe, those ears they sell make your hearing better or something. I mean, seriously, why switch otherwise? Do they also sell other pairs of eyes or something? Oh, sorry, I'm just rambling on, that's rude here, isn't it? I'm Xeron! New here. Well, I've been here before. Lot's changed since then, though. Time is really out of sync, you know that?"

Xeron stares out into the dark streets. Dim lights glowing on Halloween decorations and groups of other kids going to other places. Xeron sits, waiting for more Trick or Treaters.

A little girl, about six years old walks up behind Jason, weaving through the obstacle course of decorations. She has on a pink sweater with a pink bunny eared headband stuck on her head. Whiskers and a pink nose are painted on her face and a wad of cotton balls stuck together and glued onto the back of her sweater.

She smiles up at Jason. He's the boy that the adults and other kids talk about in whispers. She didn't know why they disliked him so much. He seemed nice enough, and was even kinda cute! Her parents are no where to be seen, but she doesn't seem worried. "Trick or treat!" She says cheerfully to the man with the candy. She'd never seen him before. He must be new.

"Hello, there! Nice to see you! Oh, yep, trick or treat- yep," Xeron grabs a couple large handfuls from the bucket and places it in the girl's bag. "I'm new to this whole 'Trick or Treating' stuff, it's exciting! What are you supposed to be? Wait, no, don't- let me guess. It's gotta be somethin' frightening because this is Halloween and all... You're... A mutant cat, right? Did I get it?"

Jennine opened up her candy bag and let the candy drop in. This guy gave more than anyone else on the block. She giggled when he guessed her costume. "Of course not, I'm a bunny rabbit! They're not very scary, unless you have a fear of them. Then I suppose they are scary." She tilted her head to the side for a moment, thinking. "I've never heard of anyone that had a fear of a bunny rabbits though."

"Oh, a bunny rabbit, eh? Well, that was definitely an unexpected one, then. Oh wait! I get it! The ears aren't cat ears! Okay, so that must make you a bunny," Xeron opens another pack of candy and starts eating it. "So, what's your favorite part of Halloween then, bunny rabbit-girl?"

It was hard to miss Savalia at night. Her fiery hair glowed with the intensity of a torch, lighting the way for her and groups of other trick or treaters that tended to gather around her, using her light to navigate from house to house when the street lights were too dim. If that was a costume, it was a damn clever one.

Dressed in robes covered in what could only be described as "bling," all a-glitter in her self-made light, she sauntered up to the next house. It just so happened that the house was Xeron's.

"A bunny, huh?" she grinned, holding out an already mostly filled pillow case. "Cute costume, kid. Trick or treat!"

"The candy, of course!" She giggled as if that could be the only answer in the world to Xeron's question. "Seeing all the different costume's is fun too though." As she said this, a very bright lady walked up to the door.

Jennine blushed when the woman complimented her. "Thank you." She tilted her head and looked at the woman's own get up. She couldn't think of what it could be, but she seemed to be making a lot of light so maybe... "Are you the sun?"
