"Hmn, like me and healing. Well then, I sure got born with a boring power," Daedrin said and sat down. He started warming his hands by the fire, then eventually got tired of that and fell backwards straight onto his back to look up into the sky again.
"Good night," he said and lay down on his side, where he quickly fell asleep.
(Something can happen or we can jump to the next morning up to you.)

(Making something happen sounds good.)
Daedrin shifted over to his side, then grunted over to Nomti, acknowledging his 'good night'.

A sudden shift in the wind and a new scent on it startled Nomti out of his sleep. He sniffed the air again and his ears pricked forwards. He heard shuffling... And moaning.
"Daedrin," he quickly shook the other boy awake, "Wake up! You're about to get a taste of what Set can do."
"Daedrin," he quickly shook the other boy awake, "Wake up! You're about to get a taste of what Set can do."
"Great, for Set's sake it'd better taste like food or I'm gonna kill something..." Daedrin slowly woke, but grabbed his Scimitar immediately. He looked at Nomti and took cover by an oak tree, hopefully hidden from wherever Nomti thought whatever was after them coming from.
"Don't hide. There's no point in hiding," Nomti said and an orb of black and purple light formed in his right hand. He pushed it into the ground and a crack appeared in the earth then a massive scorpion tail came not out of the ground, but from the ground, followed by a human head and torso that had scorpion claws for arms.
The creature came up out of the ground and revealed itself to be a strange variety of centaur, with a massive scorpion as the lower half instead of a horse and it appeared to be made of dirt for a moment then the outer shell of earth crumbled away, revealing a hard shell and flesh.
Out of the shadows, humanoid forms began to appear and they moaned. They wore traditional Egyptian head dresses and skirts. They had scimitars and sickles in their hands and their skin appeared to be made of shadows. Their bones could be faintly seen beneath.
"Stay next to the scorpion man," he cautioned to Daedrin and grabbed his two sickles.

"Scorpion man... Right... Because, why wouldn't I want to be next to the scorpion man?" Daedrin mutters to himself as he slowly backs away, getting closer to the Scorpion-Centaur. He readies his scimitar and gets into a sturdy stance. "Any more good advice? Like, eh, where to hit these things when they get nearer?"
"Anywhere you'd hit a normal human," he said and and took a defensive stance as the shadowy dead approached. They came slowly at first but upon locking sight with them, they began to run.
Nomti used his weapons as if he were a dancer and the creatures fell then disintegrated as he cut their heads and limbs off.

Daedrin, however, was not as graceful as Nomti, and was struggling to get the hang of the battle for a minute before he found a better way to fight them. Whatever style he used, if you could call it a style, it was working for him. As one swiftly approached him, Daedrin swept it off it's feet making it fall sideways. He had placed his sword in the perfect position so that when the creature fell, he could quickly swing upwards, decapitating the enemy. Daedrin kept going for a while, on to the next, then the next, how many of these were there, anyway? It wasn't long before Daedrin felt overwhelmed, but was glad he had help.
After he had sliced another two of these creatures apart, he finally managed to yell out to Nomti. "How many more of these do you think there are?!"

"Who knows?" he shrugged, "Do you know how many people were in the nearest village?"
"Oh you've got to be kidding me!" Daedrin screams as he slices one apart just in time to counter another attack. One caught Daedrin by surprise as he was dealing with one that nearly hit him. The one that surprised him had cut at Daedrin's head. Daedrin had ducked in time for it to take out the other one that was bothering him. This gave Daedrin the chance to take off the arm it was holding it's sword with.
"Okay, so uh... Never camp by a village again?" He says after taking a slight blow to the head, but still managed to block the sharp part of the attack.
((Sorry, slow replies. Been a busy weekend, probably will be tomorrow, too.))

(It's okay )
Nomti nimbly dodged about 90% of the attacks but by the time the last one fell and disintegrated he had several cuts on his arms and chest.
"No, because on the off chance that everyone in the village hasn't been sacrificed in order to create these, then we can get any supplies we might need. Also, there's safety in numbers. Anyways, once we get to the next village, we'll have to kill a mummy vizier. That should be interesting," he said sarcastically.

"Safety in numbers. Right. Hence why probably everyone in the village was sacrificed," Daedrin finished off three more, with many more cuts and bruises than Nomti, however. Daedrin looks at an especially large gash in his arm and focuses the palm of his hand over the worst parts of the wound. The wound immediately passes through phases of healing, and scabs up quickly and heals. Daedrin then noticed that he was holding his breath for that whole time.
Daedrin doesn't bother with the rest of the cuts, bruises and gashes. "These small ones will heal within the span of one to three days," He says as he concentrates to heal the more severe gashes all over. They start scabbing then healing up as well. Daedrin sighs after he finished the last bit where one of the sacrificial zombies had cut him. He tires out, not being able to heal the wound the rest of the way.
"I'm not sure if I can work with this weapon," He glances at his scimitar. "I'm much better with a blade that has more reach, I think."

"That thing isn't exactly short," Nomti raised an eyebrow, "Do you want, like, a two handed sword? A halberd maybe?"
"Okay, okay, I get your point. I'm just saying, something with a little less of a... Curve," Daedrin hadn't ever used anything but he put aside his doubts about using it for now. "So, uh, what was with the Centaur?"
The scorpion man was still standing there and Nomti looked over at it, "He was helping us. Those claws are just as sharp as swords," he said and have the creature a dismissive wave. It's body turned to dirt then crumbled down to earth.
"A scorpion centaur... made out of dirt. Okay. So, uh, was he a spell of some sort? Did you summon him or something? Because if not, I think he'd be great backup while we sleep. But of course, we have to move camp, right? Because they know we're here now," Daedrin walks over to parts of the trampled camp and starts grabbing some stuff. Then his eyes glance at the healing bread. "I guess this stuff will come in handy soon then. Heh."
"I summoned him, hence the spell in my hand," he chuckled, "And we're fine. That seemed Like all of the villagers. I don't think we'll have any more trouble."
"Excuse me if I have trouble believing that... but seeing as we're basically on a mission to save the world, we'll have plenty more trouble ahead of us."
"There's only so many people nearby to turn into undead minions," Nomyi shrugged but began to pack up everything.
