Tonight was Halloween,one of the top 5 favorite holidays on most childrens lists.Sweets,sugar,junkfood,now who doesn't love that? Sebastian wasent one of the normal people,that answered doors,gave out candy,and closed the door.Honestly,he liked walking around town on Halloween,just to judge peoples houses.Rather the owners stunk at Halloween decorating,or actually did a decent job.Halloween was the one time of year that he didn't have to hide his fangs,or get starred at for being paler then the typical person.He walked over to a window and looked out it,it seemed the people who lived across the street from him did a lazy job at decorating.All they had was a jack-o-lattern in the middle of their yard,no more,no less.No fake cobwebs,no skeletons,no witches,nothing but a simple jack-o-lattern.Boring,and lame.What ever happened to the scary part of Halloween,did somebody trash it or something,or was it stolen and never returned? He didn't know.

Hours pasted by quick,and soon 8:00 appeared on the clock.That's usually when the kids began to adventure out into the night.He better get going before somebody came ringing his doorbell thinking he had candy.He slipped on his costume,a semi sorcerer,a long black coat,and a staff,that the crystal on top,that seemed to glow,but it was not battery powered.No,not much dress up for this 17 year old,no not much at all.He left the house locking the door,and walking down the steps.He took a left and began to walk through out the neighborhood.There was one house he walked by that interested him.An old lady sat on her front porch in her rocking chair,and she had a blue,bowl on her lap.When children reached inside to get a piece of candy,a arm would pop out and grab their wrist.It was actually quite funny.He looked around with his blue eyes.So many people,young,or semi young dressed up in odd costumes,that streched from bees and lions,to axe murderers,and demons.The night was just getting started.Welcome to the freak show,fright night is upon us,soon.

Halloween, a night where you go around strangers houses in the dark. Saying "trick or treat!" Randomly getting a bunch of candy for it. Then going home and stuffing your face with jaw breakers, snicker, and more, and more treats. Until your teeth are yellow as corn. You're forced by your mother to brush your teath, double time. What a fun night, until the night is ober, and it's back to your boring old loft the next day.

Rosetta a 14 year old girl. Didn't like holloween like everyone else. People with messed uo faces, that was just mainly make up. Scared the crap out of her. Walking alone in the dark with only a small plastic bag, and a flashlight. Couldn't make her any terrified than this. "Why did they make me do this?" Rosetta said to herself, and noticing while she walked by a couple house. Some kids being greedy, and getting their hands popped by some lady.

Children all around, some were sweet, and took an understandable amount of sweets, others were greedy and tried to steal it all away.Something was off though,there was one house just sitting there, nicely Halloween decorated yard, even a bowl of candy on the front porch, but, nobody was visiting it.Nobody came near it, even with the advantages, it was odd. More odd than your any day 'odd'.Sebastian looked around, he, at least for now, was the only one who would be willing to check it out, or at least for now he was.

Rosetta walked down the dark sidewalk with the street lights flashing, and some flickering on and off. Kids from all ages walked in the opposite direction, from Rosetta. Some with small, medium, and also extremely large bags of candy. Rosetta looked her bag of candy, all she had was toothpaste and a tooth brush from sone lady, and a Hershey bar. She sighed, and continued to walk, until she stopped by a house with a candy bowl, and no one around to watch it. Most kids would just take the whole bowl and walk away, but surprisingly no one was there. Well, until Rosetta noticed someone in their late teens, checking out the house.

Curiosity taking all of his control, he was just dying to find out why nobody came to the unattended candy bowl.Sebastian didnt have a bag for candy, prooving that he wasent going for sweets.He stood at the bottom of the front steps, looking over the house, the lights were on, showing that somebody should be home, but not a sound came from the house, not even creaks of floors as somebody walks across them, no sound at all.

A little fearful at first, Rosetta felt as she stepped forward to the house. Maybe that giy won't notice that I was here if I just take a quick peek... Rosetta thought. Grabbing her courage and stepping forward towards the hows.

He looked up at the house, it was so quiet, to quiet, honestly, it was creepy quiet.Sebastian walked up the front steps of the house, he could tell somebody was behind him, but payed it no attention.

Rosetta slowly followed behin, up to the dark mysterious house, just grab a piece of candy, and give no eye contact... Rosetta thought to herself.

He walked up the final step, and his eyes looked at the candy bowl, obviously untouched.However, as if the floor had sensors in it, which he knew it didn't, the door slowly opened, less then 4 feet from him.A middle aged lady walked outside, but something was off about her, her face was disformed, she must have accidentally scared the kids, the creepy thing was, it wasent a mask.

Rosetta stood a good distance away from the stranger and bowl. It was strange that the bowl was never touched, and it wasn't strange at the same time. When the middle aged women walked outside the house, ph dear God that was past strange. Rosetta stepped back slightly, shaking in terror, did she smash het face in the wall 30 times?

Sebastian starred at the women, then backed up slightly.He didn't trust her, or her candy.

Rosetta stepped back some more, getting ready to run away.

Sebastian wasent sure if he should run or not,she didn't seem attack, but her looks would frighten anybody.The lady looked down.Some children walked past the house, the children saw the lady, and they ran screaming for the hills.

Run, run, run Rosetta thought to herself but she didn't move.

Sebastian backed up a little more."Have A happy Halloween" the lady said.Her voice was light, but a bit messed up.The lady headed back towards her door, seeing she frightened people.

"Jeepers..." Rosetta said quitely, that women was past ugly.

The lady went inside.Sebastian let out a sly sigh of relief, at least that was over, and in advance, now he knew why people didn't trick or treat at this house.

Rosetta walked up the steps, towards the bowl of candy, picking a small twix bar from the bowl, sense it would be mean to take the whole thing.

Sebastian looked at the girl as she took only one piece of candy, at least she wasent greedy, that was good.
