Enter a text only D&D Campaign with far darker undertones. Response length requirements are nonexistent, however please be sure to at least try to post with good grammar.
THE PLOT:
Ever since folk started writing and recording events, the world has been subject to periodic demonic invasions every 100 years or so. They are always beaten back by heroes who rise to the occasion in order to quell and sunder the demonic lords and their vile forces. Good always wins, but Evil always keeps coming back. It's that time again for a few with incredible potential to turn the tide.
The above is a lie told generation after generation.
Your characters are all part of the same village. They grew up there, and are currently attending a sort of harvest festival at the local tavern. Lots of drink and food is to be had as well as partying and dancing to be done. Unfortunately, this is the night when demons invade yet again. And the little town of Riverthorn is their first unfortunate target. Left as the sole survivors, they must make their way to the city of Danmar to tell of what happened and possibly embrace their destiny.
It doesn't matter what they do. Good will always win whether they like it or not.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Characters Need to Be Level 3 of any class, but they'll have to be vetted before I let them join. All official source material is applicable, even Tasha's.
2. You must be able to respond at least once a day unless the group has been forewarned. If you feel you cannot do this, please do not attempt to join.
3. As said before, post length requirements are nonexistent, and please try to restrain your post to three paragraphs at most so the flow of the game does not get bogged down by walls of text. Albeit, I still expect good grammar from you though.
4. This story can get a little dark with its material. You have been forewarned.
PM me if interested.

Magic is common.
Renaissance
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Some romance is possible, but the overall plot is more important.
Details: Character sheets & strict mechanics, concise post-length, one-off scene. Will be played with a small group of players.
