"Oh, I see. How long does it take to cook?" She fidgeted impatiently.

"Ten minutes?" he guessed, "I never timed it, but it's not too long."

She frowned for a moment, but perked up quickly. "Alright! I can wait!" She smiled widely.

While the burgers cooked, he went inside and sliced up a tomato, an onion and pulled out all sorts of condiments to put on top of the patties. He went back out and put all the patties onto a plate.
"Sit at the table and I'll be right with you," he smiled.

She moved over to the table and sat down dutifully, watching him patiently from where she sat. "Do you have people over often, or is it just you?"

He shook his head and shrugged, "Not many visitors to a random cabin out in the woods," he shrugged, "Sometimes feral wolves come by and hang out with them," he said and went back out then pulled the burgers off the grill and set then on a larger plate and set that on the table.
"Dig in," he said and began assembling his burger.

"Join a pack?" she looked at the burger and inspected it, poking it for a moment. Satisfied, she ravenously ate the burger straight on its own. She wiped the grease off her mouth and promptly wiped it off her hands onto her pants. She smiled childishly, "I like it," she remarked and gave him a thumbs up. "Ten out of ten." She looked at his, she hadn't thought to put anything else on it.
She laughed, "I did that wrong."

"No, I don't join, I just hang out with them. I'm a rogue by their standards, they wouldn't let me join," he shrugged and smiled, "Thanks, and yeah, just a bit wrong."

"Oh, well." She looked around, "So wolves actually live up here? I never thought do." She frowned slightly, "Better be more careful then."

"There's only two packs that I know of and they're not around here this time of year.

"Oh, I see." She paused, "Do you get lonely all the way out here? They must be your only regular visitors."

"Yeah, I do," he sighed and took a bite of his burger.

"Sorry." She perked up, "Whenever I can get out, I'll come visit!"

"It's alright," he shrugged and then perked up a little bit himself, "You will?"

"Yep! I promise." She held out her hand.

He smiled and shook it then took another bite of his burger. "You can have another," he said and gestured to the patties on the plate.

"Yay!" she grabbed another, this time copying Elemeno and actually MAKING a burger, which she munched on immediately (though many of the fillings fell out).

He couldn't help but laugh as he watched her eat the burger and he finished his then made another one for himself.
"So, got any family?" he asked between bites.

She looked up, "Um not really, they're all dead," She said flatly. "I have a guardian, but he doesn't really count." She shrugged her shoulders.

He frowned a little bit, "What's your guardian like?"
