She held up her pinky, "Promise to do it."

"We can do it right now," he chuckled, "Come on, let's go."

She lowered her hand and pressed it onto the table as she stood up, "Alright then." She stretched and fixed her jumper, which had creased while she had been sitting.

He shoved his hands in his pockets and looked around for a good path then headed into the trees, looking back to make sure Hero was following.

She kept his pace, following him with her arms crossed over her chest. "You must know this forest really well."

"I live here, I have to know it well," he shrugged and looked upwards towards the trees where song birds were chirpin beautifully in the warm air.

"F'course," she responded, her head snapping about in the direction of the bird's chirpings curiously. She liked to chase birds around, but she didn't want to embarrass herself so instead she followed them with her eyes. She smiled, one bird had a little song which she tried to whistle back, she wasn't quite right but she wasn't absurdly off.

The avian's didn't seen to take notice of Hero's whistling and just continued on, though El chuckled a bit.
"Very nice," he applauded.

She bowed, "Thank you." She whistled her own tune, it was one she'd heard in town when she wandered in before. "Can you whistle?"

"Of course," he did a brief demonstration, "Why?"

"Just curious, some people can't whistle. Especially songs, it's kinda sad." she shrugged, her dad apparently couldn't whistle a tune (or even hum it). "At least birds can always sing."

"Crows can't," he countered and stuck his tongue at her

She responded by mimicking him, complete with a 'Nyeeh'. She began to laugh, "fair point."

He laughed and lightly bumped her with his hip.

She bounced a bit to the side, laughing still and swung her hips back at him. "Watch'it," she joked.

The werewolf didn't even recoil at her return bump and just grinned down at her, "You watch it or you'll wind up being my dinner," he teased.

"Oh, you wouldn't want to eat me, I'm all skin and bones. And too stringy." She pulled up her sleeve and exposed her bony arms.

"I'd cook you up first to make sure all of your muscle was nice and soft~ Then into my belly with you."

"Well, at least I'll be yummy."

"Oh, very," he smirked and bumped her with his hip again, "You're pretty cool. I'd like to hang out with you more."
