"Heh, good boy. You like pats when you're a wolf, don't ya?" She stroked along the back of his neck, ruffling his fur.

He nodded and rubbed his massive head against her chest.

She patted his head lightly before getting back up to her feet. She scratched his jaw line lightly, "Affectionate wolfman, I don't think that's in the job description."

He grolwed happily and snuggled his head closer to her chest then started to transform into his more... Huggable, feral wolf form.

"Oh." She took a step back to give him room, before patting along his neck. "Hm." she'd wanted a dog when she was younger, but this was not what she had in mind.

The wolf sat down in front of her and looked towards her with a wagging tail and tongue lolling out the side of his mouth. Probably the most inviting "Come pet me!" expression a wolf could give.

"Alright, El." She crouched down and continued to pat the friendly wolf.

He rubbed his head against her hand then rolled onto his back and put his legs up into the air.

She knelt down, rubbing his chest and his stomach softly. She flicked her hair behind her ear, before rubbing his jaw and chin.

Every scratch made his tail wag faster and squirmed a little in the grass, his whole body wriggling in pleasure and he let out an eager, happy whine.

"Good boy!" She continued to pet him, combing her fingers through his fur. "You like that, don't ya?"

After a couple more blissful minutes, he reluctantly stood an stepped back then began to turn into a human again.
Once the transformation was complete, El looked completely embarassed. His cheeks were bright red and he wouldn't look directly at Hero.
"I-it's getting sorta late... Want me to walk you home?"

She moved out of his way, swinging on the back of her heels with her arms crossed behind her back and smiled widely. She looked up to him at his proper human height, tilting her head at his reddened face. She shrugged indifferently, "If you want but I can walk myself. I won't get lost." She fixed her hair, "it's nice that you offer though."

"I'll walk with you. I'd be a terrible gentleman not to."

"I'm sure it wouldn't matter too much, once a gentlemen, right? But alright." She offered her arm. "It shouldn't be too far."

He smiled a little shyly and locked his arm with hers, "So... You lead the way. I'm just the escort now."

She nodded and began the walk home. "It's kinda... Less nice than yours. You might not like it." She turned herself and El to the right after a short time. "It's... Messy."

"I don't judge," he smiled, "So, who's your care taker again?"

"I don't really know his name, he doesn't really talk much. It never really mattered what his name was, he's just always been there. I usually just call him Guardian." She pursed her lips, "I should ask him."

"That's very strange, to say the least," he mused, "How long have you known him?"
