Gwyneira (played by Gwynei) Topic Starter

As she finished drawing energy from her magicka pool, Gwyneira, drew her hands back and split the ball she had gathered into two parts. Then she spun, using momentum and concentration to lob the energies at the skeletons, fast approaching. It did not blow them apart- a testament to their power, perhaps, or an insult to hers- but it staggered them badly enough that she had the chance to turn and run so that she was far enough to prepare a better attack.

As she wove together ice in the form of a spike, she watched J'o Rahe and the undead invaders. Gwyneira herself was not going near them, not at all- she backed up until she was right in front of the pillar from earlier, pressing the backs of her legs into it and leaning slightly on it.
J'o Rahe (played by KingofHaddock)

J'o Rahe put himself in a position to combat the skeletons. There would be no use in stabbing, or impaling them. Their rib cage meant that little would not pass through, especially a sword. Because of this, Rahe chose to use his blade like a club. As he got closer to them, the staggered skeletons began to hiss louder, like a desert snake. Knowing their aggressiveness, the skeletons would be the first to make a move.

He waited patiently for the skeletons to make an attack that he could exploit. If he was to aim for the spinal cord, or perhaps the skull, he could possibly be able to break the skeleton with enough for to cause it to disembody.

Though her gaze continually slid back to her weakened companion, Gwyneira let most of her focus stay on the skeletons. She was cautious about unloading her current spells with J'o Rahe so close to her targets, but it would be a waste of magicka to not do so even with him so close. And so she chose to trust her aim, flinging magic ice at their small group of opponents, aiming for whichever was farthest from the Khajiit.

It made contact with brittle bones of the arm, snapping through them and nicking its ribs. The thing let out a cackling hiss that might have been pain, if it was even able to feel such things. Gwyneira would not know, lacking the skills of necromancy. The next spell she prepared was another in the fallen school of Mysticism, more simple force- that was effective against these, at least, which meant it was not entirely useless.
J'o Rahe (played by KingofHaddock)

J'o Rahe swung his silver blade at the skeleton's spinal cord, hoping for a powerful blow. Enough power at least to causes the force that animates it to lose it's power over the skeleton. If he was successful, then he had hoped to have broken the spine of the skeleton, which probably mean't that it could not reform. After all, an animated skeleton has never emerged from bonemeal.

Rahe did not know how much power it would require to disembody the undead skeletons. The school of necromancy had always been a mystery. How things could arise from a corpse, and how the force that animated it could be destroyed, was quite a mystery. Then again, Rahe's blade was forged of fine silver.
