Sam finally got the hang of titan shifting, his feet were feather light, his body was flexible and his power was great. He shrugged a little like it was no big deal but he couldn't help but feel smug.

Sam watched as the small titans were running towards him, he got ready for the first one and kicked it straight across the face smashing its skull in the process and taking another titan along for the ride. two 10m titan's approached h'm they were almost the same size as him. Sam threw up his fists getting ready to use his MMA skills. He grabbed the first titan by spinning around it and wrapping his metallic arms around its waist, pulling back with full force he managed to lift it completely above himself and dropping it on its head by suplex.

He jumped back onto his feet, the other 10m titan got closer and it was at that point Sam stopped moving. Hot steam escaped through his joints but he was as still as a statue. The titan didn't hesitate, it leaped onto him taking him down. The nape of his titan body was cut open and out shot tiny human Sam without his maneuver gear and no way for him to defend himself.

Sam was sprawled on the floor after he landed, coughing and wheezing, the thought finally dawned on him "I'm not equipped..." he said wide-eyed as he patted his hips in hopes he'd be wearing his maneuver gear. He got up and started sprinting away, the titans quickly turned their attention at their new meal. Sam lifted his right hand to his mouth and bit it hoping is titan abilities would work... Would they?

Leliana watched with slight amusement but she was alert as always. The moment Sam's movements stopped she came barreling through, her shoulder slamming into numerous titans that were quickly closing in on his titan. Her head whipped to the side, her tongue lashing at them. Numerous titans were torn through by her viscous tongue.

After taking out a few more she noticed Sam's titan lying on the ground. She sniffed the air quickly then rushed forward, spun and roundhouse kicked two titans that were almost upon her friend.

The worried titan dropped to her knees, gently lifting Sam,"Safe..."she gently Nuzzled him before she stood and sprinted towards the wall with Sam securely in her possession.

Sam was out of breath and felt like like was coughing out a lung. He sat back in her hand and waited as the got closer to the wall. The bangs of his hair annoyed hi so he blew it to the side. The guards, instead of laughing at each other were laughing at him. They were pissing themselves laughing at how weak he looked that he needed a girl to help him out of a sticky situtaion.

"Alright alright!" Sam said pouting at the guards, he stepped off her hand onto the wall.

"Wow, you had such an ego, and it was cool for a sec before it went sideways" Nicole said approaching him from behind, she placed a gentle hand on his shoulder and stood besides him.

"i know" Sam continued to pout.

"Soldiers" Their team leader,Philip, Was there too stood with a woman besides him. Her name was Stacy, she was class genius back at the academy and it was rumoured that Philip took on 3 titans by himself all for revenge of his fallen comrades. Philip was a tall and buff blonde, His Baby blue eyes were the secret to his charming personality but he was just REALLY good at sweat talking.

Stacy on the other hand was an average height girl with brown hair and eyes. Her bubbly persoality was always pleasant but everyone knows how dangerously evil she looks when she's angry. She had a clip board pressed to her chest and a big smile as she looked between Lily, Sam and Nicole.

Philip approached the three and held out a hand to shake theirs "welcome to the team, the other 4 are going to be a little late" he said with a sincere and friendly smile.

Leliana growled meancingly at the guards, her head tilted sideways so her glare looked even more unsettling. The guards almost screamed, quickly retreating as her tongue edged towards them. Once satisfied with their reaction she set Sam down then ripped herself from the nape of her neck.

The ravenette landed softly besides Nicole and Sam. She smiled to Nicole before she approached Sam, giving him a quick once over to make sure he was alright before she smacked the side of his head," You scared the shit out of me!"she huffed before she gave him and affectionate smile.

She looked over as their squad leader approached them. Her expression went blank and she shifted her stance so she was besides Nicole. She wasn't quite sure how she felt about this guy, or even the brunette but she didn't say anything. Charming guys always unsettled her, but they always found a way to worm their way into her heart...like Leon. She almost laughed when she realized this but kept her expression unreadable.

Sam kinda chuckled as the others retreated from her Titan tongue "what's wrong guys? Can't handle a girl's tongue" he teased

The captain cocked a brow at lily "hey now, I don't bite" he smiled at her with his pearly white teeth. He held out his hand for a hand shake "My name's Philip" Sam took his hand and shook it

"Sam, Nicole and leliana. Lily for short" he pointed at them as he introduced them. Stacey's bubbly personality was mixed with excitement.

"Oh my god! You two are amazing!" She said taking Lily's hand "how awesome is it to be heroic!?" Sam was happy that someone thought the best. She was so excited and welcoming, She ran over to Sam "that metal thing you did with your arms was so cool" she was really close to him.

Sam gave her a goofy smile and ran his hand threw his hair. They were finally caught up by cleanse and Ben but Nicole was too busy being jealous of Stacey and giving her dirty eyes but Stacey was too busy flirting with Sam.

Philip shook both Ben and Cleas' hands with a friendly smile. Stacey finally broke away from Sam and did the same. Ben and Cleas stood besides the rest as the other in introduced members joined them.

Philip smiled but this time his smile was wider "Sting, Jamie, Chloe and fletcher... Why am I not surprised you 4 are last"

Leliana simply nodded at Philip, her eyes widening when her hand was grabbed by the short brunette. She smiled down to her her, her head tilted as she listened to her excited rant.

She was thankful when she moved to Sam, she had never down well with bubbly girls, they always drained her energy. She placed a hand on Nicole's shoulder, laughing softly as she gave the girl the stink eye.

She felt more comfortable when she was surrounded by her family, her features even softening as she looked at Clease and Ben. She stepped closer to them as four new people joined them. Lily wasn't really shy but in this era she still wasn't as used to people like she was before so she tried to be someone unimportant but it didn't help she was widely known as the petite titan throughout the walls.

The new team members stood besides the rest in front of Philip "all of you, meet each other. we're the new Titan squad" Some of the few had a large smile because they were part of the deadliest team within the walls however Nicole wasn't very happy with one or more of the team members... Stacey being the top one.

Sting, a brown eyed and grey haired buff 20 year old with a very secretive personality kept to himself but looked at Leliana and Sam with a very off look.

Jamie clipped Sting softly across the head, she tutted him then fist bumped Sam "Hey this is Sting, I'm Jamie" she smiled, her green eyes shimmered a little. Her dressing style was a little masculine but she preferred to be comfortable no matter where she was and who she was with.

Chloe on the other hand was perfect with tools and gadgets. She wore the least amount of clothing than anyone in the team which hugged her body all too well.



A few guards met them and took them down to the front gates. There they were briefed on their mission "Okay, now with your new team we want you to take over the North West Section of the outer wall" The guard briefing them stood tall and looked them in the eye, not flinching at all "keep the damage done to the houses at a minimum"

Leliana was wary about having a team this large but if it meant helping humanity she would go along with it, but her intentions were to keep her friends safe. She looked to Sting, studying carefully and smiling slightly as she noticed how uneasy his gaze felt on her.

Next she looked to Jamie, a girl that seemed just as bubbly and happy as Stacey yet also seemed more tomboyish yet that sort of thing didn't matter. So when she saw Chloe in little clothing she didn't even blink. She exchanged soft Hello's before she followed the guards by Sam's side.

She gently placed her hand on his shoulder,"Take it steady. If you feel unstable tell me immediately. Your temper can't get the best of you or else someone might get hurt."she said sternly, but there was gentleness in her eyes. She looked forward before she drew her swords, the weight heavy and comfortable in her hands.

Sam couldn't take his eyes off of Chloe, he found himself staring in one direction as they made for the baracks. Sam slapped himself to snap out of the trance he was in, he was caught off guard by Lily and jumped when she placed a gentle hand on him "Holy shit..." he mumbled exhaling, shaking his head clear.

He turned to Lily with an awkward smile "Erm, i was just erm, looking at the swords" he tried to play it off "Yeah..." he said slightly dissappointed at the fact that what happened previously could be a reaccuring event and could lead to bad outcomes "I'll try but, i don't know why i stopped..." he said slightly worried

Chloe approached them both and held out 2 new maneuver gears for them "Here" Sam took one and inspected it from top to bottom "These 2 are made specially for you two. I realised that you're abilities only activate when you inflict self harm" she waited until Sam strapped his on and pulled out one of the blades from their sheathes "This trigger on the top of the hilt realeases the spikes that shoot into your palms. All you have to do is flick it and shift into titans" she said pointing at the flick trigger on the hilt.

Sam took the sword back and spun it around his hand "They feel lighter than i remember" he held the sword reverse handed and tried that too.

Honestly, Lily wasn't all that surprised when she noticed Sam oogling at Chloe. He was a guy after all so she let it slide this once but she couldn't help rolling her eyes at his excuse,"Right..."she mumbled.

She accepted the new gear, taking her old one off and ha ding to one of the nearby giardsa. After a moment of putting it on she drew the blades, balancing the weight then spinning them in her grip,"Nice job. Very nice."she praised the young woman before she looked to Sam,"I'm not going to shift right away."she told him

Once the gate was opened she walked through, her long hair tied back so it wouldn't distract her. This all felt so similar, heading out on a mission with her team yet it wasn't her team and they weren't going out into the actual world but district they had lost. She felt uneasy.

Sam nodded "it's best we keep the shifting for when we're really in a bind. Best to keep it covert and take down titans one at a time" he slid his blades back into their sheaths and stood behind the gate. As the gap between the door widened the view of the districts really looked bad " I guess we can flu out minimum damage" from as far as Sam could see, the whole district was turned to rubble.

Philip took point, all of them ran from building to building until they spotted their first target. It was a small 6m Titan.

"Alright, We're breaking up into 3 teams. Sam and lily, me and Stacy and then Chloe, sting and Jamie. Me and Stacy are going to go into the house on the left of the Titan, sting, Jamie and Chloe are going into the house on the right. Sam and lily are going to be being in the shadows and cutting out the nape of the Titan when it falls. Me and Stacy are going to cut the Achilles' tendons in its foot and so are you three" he said to the teams "taking out the a achilies tendons should stop its ability to walk, run and get up. Instead it's gunna fall back, that's when Sam and lily are going to deliver the finishing blow"

Leliana was still trying to get used to just how things ran in this time period. Finding it difficult to understand why they worried about a simple 6 meter class. Back when she was in her prime she remembered taking these out with almost no effort. She sort of understood why they may be difficult but she never found it to be hard. She was a precise and instinctual fighter.

Reluctantly though she did as ordered- she was a soldier. She fit into the shadows nicely with her raven black hair as she waited for her time to strike. There was a certain amount of anxiety budding as she worried about her friends, hoping they would stay safe.

After a quick deep breath she flew forward silently between buildings as the titan fell to the ground. As she placed herself between it and the ground for only a second before with a clean strike cut out the nape of his neck than landed gracefully on top of a nearby house.

Before the titan hit the titan hit the ground Sam bolted through a small opening taking out the other half of the titan's nape "i know this may be strange for you but, we can't shift like you t--" philip was cut off by a thunderous roar emitting from the distance. A single bolt of lightning hit the ground and from the steam emerged a titan...

It roared once more, it had 4 arms and fiery red hair that had small fiery embers falling from it. From behind the titan another bolt hit he floor and a titan came flying over the four armed one, female in gender and fast a horse.

"holy shit!" Sam shifted his feet to brace himself "Everybody get to cover!" he yelled "Me and lilly'll hold em back" Sam yelled waving them away.

"No!" philip said "We fight" Philip said with other ht on his tail as they disappeared into a small street, What were the planing?

"Lily lets do this!" he said flicking the trigger on his blade, spikes dug into his palm. Large titan-like muscles wrapped around his body. Lightning shot down at him but redirected straight at the female titan who managed to dodge it in mere milliseconds. Titan sam emerged from the steam with his arms completely turned into solid metal.

Leliana was surprised by the sudden evolutionary power of the titans. She had never seen them like this. She was tempted to continue doing this without shifting but she wasn't sure she could take these down quick enough.

She sheathes her valdes before she pricked her finger. Her transformation didn't happen instantly. On foot she ran towards the one with fiery hair. Her fist clenched when she suddenly transformed. A large fist broke from the cloud of steam around her. It connected with the Titans jaw.

After barely a second her tongue whipped out, grappling around its neck like a wipe. After a lot of experimentation Lily had also figured out a few other abilities her titan had but she had yet to show them to the others, even Sam.

Once she had the titan pinned to the ground she raised a hand, her claws growing a deep black and growing in length. She angled her fingers just right so once her hand lasted forward it completely severed off his head.

The titan's arm's engulfed in flames, she was only able to bind his lower arms. The four armed titan slammed it's flaming fist into her facing and using her disorientation by freeing himself of her grip. It got up and slammed its lower arms into her sides then head butting her in the face sending her flying into a row of houses.

they were both at a disadvantage, Sam's metal arms flickered a second with lightning. It caught him off guard and the female titan was able to do a bicycle kick slamming her right foot into his face. He flew to the right destroying houses in his wake. His feet turned into metal and slammed into the floor getting a grip as they slid across the floor.

He placed his right hand on the floor in ready to sprint. As he launched himself bolting towards the female titan he cocked his fist back and brought it back with lightning flickering around it. The female titan dodged it by moving it's head to the right. Sam countered and brought his right arm around the back of her neck and once her heda fit tightly in a headlock he dropped back slamming the top of her head into the concrete ground flipping her back wards.

The four armed titan swung for lily with more power and speed than it did before
