Let me tell you a story, about who knows long about this small country,this pathetic country was nothing but a toy, a lesser being, to another country. This country was weak, with no rights, no power, or freedom of speech what so ever. While the other country, was strong and powerful, with full rights, and complete power over the weak and defenseless country. Men and women in the weak country, paid extra taxes, and if they were not able to pay their taxes. They would be sentence to death, or imprisonment for life! The weaker counter wouldn't stand for this harsh treatment for long. When the weak country finally decided to put their foot down and say "no."

The stronger country was outraged, and decided to punish the weaker country by force. Killing of women and children, causing blood shed for no reason. The weaker country didn't seem to care, because they decided to fight back, join together as one! During these harsh times, when the weaker country was in there highest point of hopelessness. People started to slowly loose there hope, and give up. Even though there were people that were giving up, that didn't mean everyone started to give in either!

Excalibur, a young women was one of those people, who did not give in. Excalibur, with her white cloak, with a hood over her head, a large sword covere and hidden. Walked along the street's,people minding their own business, and going about their day. As the local guards pasted by, pushing people out their way. Acting like they were better than everyone else. One of the guards, pushing and shoving people to make way for himself. Not paying attention to the moron, the rude guard walked in front of Excalibur, seeing that she was in the way. "Women if you know what's best for you, you better move.." the guard said coldly. Excalibur looked up at the mam, but didn't move, feeling upset that she didn't do whay was demanded. The man grabbed Excalibur's shoulders, about to hurt her. Big mistake....

Leith,a dancer of the shadows, the silent justice as a few people had called him. Yes, the first part was true but, really? The Silent Justice?How ridiculous, he deserved something much cooler like...The bringer of pain! Yeah that sounded awesome, he though as he chuckled to himself. He leaned out from the alley he stood in, his deep blue hair covering his soft gray eyes that were boringly studying the crowd. He slipped his hands into his pockets, sighing deeply,"Oh come on, there's nothing going on! Why should I have to stay watch..."he grumbled to himself, though he knew fully well why he was specifically chosen. Leith, not only a dancer of shadows but quite good at disguises and a few other tricks. But what came along with such good copying skills were that he never forgot a face, and those stupid higher up guys decided daily he memorized civilians and guards. Such a drag...

Still standing there, not obeying his order. Excalibur stood there, looking up at the man, she wasn't scared of some guy in fancy clothing, like everyone else. Feeling irritated the man removed his hands from her shoulders, and stepped back, and reached for his knife. Uh oh here goes another victim... people noticing what was about to happen, quickly got away from the scene about to happen. "Do you know who I am?" Asked the guard, "I am what keeps people like you from forgetting your place! I am royalty, and you are a slave..." said the guard clutching his knife, glaring at Excalibur.

The women sighed and rolled hee eyes. "A pig has more royalty than you..." Excalibur said loud enough for him to hear. That just pissed him off even more, that women had some nerve. The guard lifted off his knife, and aimed for her head, but before the pettie blade could reach her skin. The guards wrist, was wrapped around Excalibur's hand, he couldn't move it one bit, was she seriously that strong? Excalibur smirked, at the guards expression on his face, but her small smile quickly turned into a cold stare. Excalibur twisted his entire arm backward, making the man scream in pain. That was the rest of his punishment, Excalibur lifted up her knee, aimed straight at his stomach, making his cough up some blood. Letting go of his wrist, letting him fall to the ground, roll on the ground like a pig cooling off in the mud.

The Rogue turned his head as he heard a bit of commotion off to the left. He raised an eyebrow and strolled through the crowd, slipping through with ease and grace most humans yearned for. He had gotten there just in time to watched a bit of blood splatter the ground then a rather large guard dropped to the ground. He smiled crookedly and turned his eyes to the woman in white. As everyone stood in awe and shock, even fear he began to clap,"My my, we have a hero among us. How unusual."he said out loud for everyone to hear. A few looked down in shame. He pushed past, standing besides the fallen guard. He brought a foot up to grind into the back of the mans skull,"Tell me darling, the woman with white draping her body, are you our hope?"he said, with a teasing voice,"Nice job, maybe swine will learn they don't belong among the royalty."he growled and looked down the man groaning beneath his foot.

As people gathered around and stood there in amazement, at the fallen guard before them. Some people cheered, for the women, finally someone who stood up for themselves! Others that were afraid that if someone found out about this accident, that is would start up more trouble. Excalibur stared down at the man, who slowly looked up and glared, "the b**** just caused more trouble for the rest of you..." the guard mumbled. Excalibur rolled her eyes, and then at the stranger, who was praising her, squinted her eyes. "I'm no ones hope or heroine, I'm definitely no ones darling..." Excalibur said coldly.

Leith chuckled darkly, and leaned down, his grey eyes turning dark,"Oh, don't bother threatening. It's so lame."he grabbed him by the hair and with little effort lifted him off the ground,"Hey lady, are you gonna take responsibility or should I just kill him now?"he asked, blowing his bangs from his hair, his eyes read boredom but his expression was serious. The man struggled, latching onto his hand and trying to release his head but his grip didn't even budge. Leith sighed and motioned towards the crowd,"Continue with your day please."he grinned to a few children who were gazing at him with wide and excited smiles.

"I don't care what you do with him..." Excalibur said, ignoring the serious look on his face. Then at the children, getting excited and happy about a guy about to meet his end? What's wrong with the generation of kids today...? Excalibur shook her head amd rolled her eye's, turned around about to walk away. Until she heard the sudden foor steps of men, running in jer direction. "D***..." Excalibur mumbled, someone must of ran off and alerted the guards. Excalibur turned around, about to run in the other direction.

Leith rolled his eyes as well,"How boring..."he grumbled and dropped the shaking guard, kicking him in the stomach as he whistled. He no longer felt guilt in hurting others, a part of his humanity stolen from by the people who have long threatened his country. He looked over as he heard guards, watchibg her with a raised brow. He then gtebbed her arm, pulling her in the opposite direction,"Jeez, can't handle what comes after beating up an overcompensating guard?"he tsked with a grin.

Before Excalibur could run for the hills, she was suddenly grabbed by her arm, by the stranger. The he-! Excalibur thought, even though he was trying to help her, Excalibur to not like to grabbed like that. Especially by someone she never seen before in her life, you gotta have some nerve doing that. Excalibur yanked hr arm away and glared, at him. "What do you think you're doing?" Excalibur asked, raising her voice a little, as the footsteps became louder, meaning the guards were getting close.

Leith glanced back to her, releasing her arm as she stopped. He turned on his heel,"Well we're both in this together? You weren't the only who made some noise."he grinned. He adored the thrill of the chase, the simplistic step he had to take to easily avoid the baboons chasing after them,"But hey, if you wanna get caught go right ahead."he bowed,"Princess..."he smirked then turned, sauntering away at an easy tempo. The steps grew louder as they continued to waste valuable time. The rogue would have already been halfway through town but he felt the need to aid someone who had so much importance in the rise against those who tried to put them down.

"Together...?" Excalibur said raising a eyebrow, "the only thing I'm going to stay with is me, myself, and I" Excalibur said. As the sound of running footsteps coming in Excalibur's and the strangers direction. Staying here and arguing with a guy, about who made the most commotion. Excalibur rolled her eyes, when he called her princess. As the the sound of guards grew louder and louder, Excalibur could see them up ahead. Their weapons in their hands, rushing over to the scene. "You can stay here if you like and get hanged for beating up one of those dishrags." Excalibur said and turned around and ran, moving quick and light on her feet, faster than the average human.

"Jeez...how dull."he yawned as he kept walking on his merry way. A few guards shouted at him, one even almost caught up to him until he took a simple step to the side, his foot landing on a shadow and in that instant completely disappeared. He appeared in a quiet alley, just in time to see her running past,"Hey lady, try the other way!"he yelled, leaning out of the side with a grin. The sounds of guards running straight towards her,"Watch where yer going!"he slipped away again, this time appearing on a shadowy bench in front of a florists shop. He sighed a bit, resting back,"Well that was a bit of fun..."

Excalibur ignored the stranger and continued to run straight forward. Not the smartest move, but who cares, while Excalibur ran. She came to a stop when five guards appeared from a alley, from up ahead. "Give up now and drop whatever weapon you have!" One of the guards in front of her demanded. As the guards from behind closed up on her, there was no way she could escape into a alley, from this. Excalibur raised her hands, giving the 'I give up' sign.

With the slightest smile on her face. As the guards came closer with their weapon's, one of the guards walked behind to Excalibur and grabbed her by the shoulder. Reacting to the sudden grab by the shoulder, Excalibur spun around grabbed the guard by his arm, and flipped him over. The guards gasped at the sight, what was this women's deal. The guards charge at Excalibur, at full speed. At the blink of a eye, she was gone, once the guards crashed into each eath other into the spot she was last standing. Looking around to see where she went, one of the guards noticed Excalibur not on the ground but in the air.

How can a human back slip that high in the ajr like that, "impossible!" One of the guards said, as the women landed on her feet, only this time without her white cloak. This time she wore, a black, skin-tight unitard with short sleeves and pauldrons, matching fingerless gloves that extend to her biceps, and thigh-high boots, all of which are adorned with straps. She had light blue hair, with a green fringe, brown eyes that blazed with excitement. In her hand was a large wrapped sword, that she held by the handle. "Get her!" One of the guards shouted, and ran straight ahead.

Leith whistled from atop a building, his gray eyes glinting with amusement as he watched the fiery woman easily teach the guards a lesson,"Yeah, you are an okay fighter."he dangled his feet over the side, his hands gripped a chain. On the end of the chain, just barely you could see the blur of a blade as he spun it. This chick was something else, and he wasn't going to let this opportunity pass to recruit her but...by the way she fought he could already tell she was rebellious, not just the fact she was fighting the neighboring kingdoms guard but the glint of hatred he saw in her eyes as she looked at them.

The rogue continued to watch, and before long the guards were out cold. He slipped off the building, landing softly on his feet as though a force had helped him to land,"Alright, so you can swing the blade and you've got a neat costume. Great, so wanna join the rebellion?"he grinned, his chain scythe curled around his waist, his blades snugly hanging on his sides.

At the swing of her blade the bandages unwrapped from her sword. Showing her large blue blade, Excalibur quickly got in attack position, the first guard swiped his sword at her head. Excalibur ducked, stuck her foot, inder the guards feet, doing a small spin on the ground. The next guard, did the same thing, only aiming for the lop of her head, while she was gone on the ground. Excalibur blocked the attack with just by holding her sword to her forhead. The guards sword was greatly damage from slamming his sword too hard on Excalibur's.

Excalibur stood, used her knee to jab the guard straight in the guys stomach, falling down in pain. The first guard looked up at Excalibur with fearful eyes. Excalibur jabbed her sword, closed to the side of his head, looking down at him. With a blaze of fire in her eyes. "Get out my sight pig.." Excalibur said coldly. The guard didn't need to be told twice, as he scrambled to his feet and ran, taking the injured guard with him.

The other guards, who weren't quick enough to help out their beaten conrad's, ran right behind the two. Excalibur yanked her sword out of the ground, and sighed. "All bark but no bite.." Excalibur said, turning her head back over to the sudden appearances of the stranger from before. Thought about the offer for a second. "Sure" she said, "it might be interesting."

His grin widened, almost looking wicked,"Good, I am Leith, rogue extraordinaire. Tricks and shadow-dancing are my strengths blah blah...okay?"he turned, running a hand through his hair as he took a moment to gaze around at where they stood. A decently isolated area with many alleys, that works. He then turned back to the oddly colored hair woman,"Well if you want to join the cause then well...you've already proven yourself...check. Uh gotta beat up some guards, check...let's just head ot headquarters, you've pretty much passed everything so good on you."he patter her head,"Put your cloak on so people don't stare at how expose you are. Might just give a few old men heart attacks."he winked.

"Excalibur..." Excalibur said finally revealing her name after Leith told his, well not his full name. "Woop de do I passed the test in one try!" Excalibur said sarcastically, and then staring around to see what he was looking at, and back at Leith. Feeling him pat her head, Excalibur quickly slapped it away, she did not like being touched on bit. Especially by someone she didn't even know, Excalibur glared at Leith. "What the hell do you mean I'll give elderly men a heart attack?" Excalibur said, ready to swing, but taking a deep breathe she stopped herself. She grabbed her cloak.that was laying on the dirt, luckily it didn't drift off too far from here. Wiped it off and put it on, and wrapped her sword back up, and stared back at the man. "Where to?" Excalibur asked
