Y/c has been plagued by horrible nightmares for years and years. They can't ever seem to catch a break from the terrors that haunt their dreams every single sleeping hour. Its made them dread the moment that their head hits their pillow. The torture of the darkest hours of the day have spilled over into their everyday life- making work difficult, relationships tiresome, and daily tasks pointless. But something has changed. Instead of the monsters that chase them in their dreams and cause them to wake up in a sweat, someone has come to observe. Perched upon their chest is a creature that not even their mind could create. Its unblinking eyes stare into them every time they go to bed, but moving is not an option. Caught in a state of paralysis, all Y/c can do is watch this beast watch them.

Nikola is in search of something he had looked for for hundreds of years. What is this? Y/c and Nikola are yet to find out, solving their deep cut issues as they work together for a solution.



A little world background:
Magic is common for the everyday person to have. It is very usual for someone to possess anything from fire to necromancy.
Technology is modern, as it is in the present. There are no flying cars- we haven't even made it to Mars yet.
Cults are everywhere. This is a world were cults are not viewed as a terrible thing full of mind control and child abuse- but rather as a fellowship. This will tie into the plot.
Humans are a superior species, though there are other species around on earth. These species are stigmatized and mistreated though, making it hard for them to live in human areas.

Romance is possible, but not necessary to the plot and the rp.
