Rosehall. A smalk town settled neatly in the middle of relative nowhere in the state of Maine. The town is surrounded by a lush forest aptly named Rosehall Woods, and is mostly known for just being a quite farming community.
But things have been more then just quite
Lately the town has been experiencing some odd occurrences in the woods around them. Things happen in the woods all the time but for Rosehall these reports have been concerning. People are starting to go missing, screams are being heard from the treelines, and crows have been uncharacteristically showing up in the forest in massive droves.
The little town and its rumors spread fast, but many residents hope its just that, rumors. They continue their lives in ignorant bliss as something terrible is happening all around them. FBI detectives and other strange men in suits have been pressuring the area, so the local police force have started expanding their enforcers to show they care about the situation, and hopefully look favorable in the locals eyes.
You are one of those joining on the crew today. You may not know too much about what's going on or maybe you do, but either way just a word of advice rookie.
Stay out of the woods
And pray that whatever is in there, stays there.

As the little summery suggest, I am looking for someone who is willing to play part as a new rookie or transfer officer to the Rosehall police department who will be Officer Harvey Cross's partner. I dont want to take this rp super seriously and dark but it is also a horror/surreal paranormal themed rp so if you are okay with a some gore and disturbing events then you should be fine. For my partner I would prefer you be a female but it also really doesnt matter because romance isnt really a focus for me. For some reason it just feels like the dynamic of a male and female jives with me better, but I also realize that's kinda ridiculous so I'll take anything. I also prefer partners who are able to write in decent length with good details. Short and unengeretic responses will not float my boat. On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Modern
A peaceful setting, but with a chance for small fights and struggles to break out on a very small scale.
Some romance is possible, but the overall plot is more important.
