Greetings!
I am new to the site and think I finally have my characters set up enough to start looking for a partner or partners. Ideally I wanted to start with Kara and the storyline I have outlined for her. (very basic outline, open to some change and adaptation)
I do also have a setting profile with a small cast of characters/NPCs that I would be more than willing to use!
What I am looking for is someone more long term than one off. 3rd person past tense. Modern/Urban-Fantasy setting. Very willing to use characters of most species. Human, Therianthrope, (werewolf, werebear, etc) Magic-User, etc. The power level would be somewhat lower to start, so those elder bloodline vampires and rising deities would need to be adjusted accordingly though the potential will remain.
I am more of a longform player so I will be looking for someone interested in joint-worldbuilding that also is plot driven and open to OOC collaboration. I am fine with adult themes as long as they advance the plot/fit the scene and have only a few hard limits. I am also open to working with someone that would prefer the story not be 18+ (though if left to my own devices, it would probably gravitate in that range)

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Romance is expected but not required, and will be accompanied by other plot.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
Oi!! I'm new as hell to the site but I've been doing a roleplay based off urban fantasy stuff for a couple years so I'm sort of familiar? I have a few characters i haven't posted yet that pretty much each fit individually into a few of those (main three characters I use are a half demon and a therian character,) if you're up for giving me a basic setting and visual to bounce off of, I'm all down!
like I said, literally joined this site last night so I still have yet to give a full spectrum of the characters I got, but I write a lot for them and they're decently developed ^-^
I am definitely still open to seeing what we can come up with! Best I can do for a general setting here is a split life between keeping up grades and intense harrowing danger jumping to distant realms. There are a few visuals of Kara herself on her profile, but otherwise a good aesthetic would be most things lovecraftian.
I don't do third person, but I can do past tense, is that good enough?
I could perhaps give that a shot. I'll be honest I'm skeptical. The play style I most enjoy would likely suffer from frequent perspective changes. That being said, I try to be willing to do new things!
I'm interested. I can also adapt some things about my character for the story.
