The scent of charred trees and rotten corpses filled Aries senses as she trotted down the rocky path in the form of a black wolf. Her silver eyes looked around the destroyed forest and filled with hopelessness. The only thing left standing in the remains of her home was the oasis that was always kept untouched by spirits. A waterfall poured over the rocks and into a small pond where even there, life was scarce. Aries rested her head on her paws and closed her eyes with a sigh. She woke back up with a startle when she heard a large splash and was sprayed by the clear pond water. She immediately got to her feet and peered over the rock she had just been resting on. That's when her eyes rested on the waterfall coming back together like it had been split to throw something out behind it. Bubbles bursting on the surface came from the water and the shadow of a being appeared underneath but she couldn't yet tell if they were human or something else. Aries jaw dropped but still she growled harshly to the stranger that had just intruded on the last piece of her home that was left undestroyed.
Another wolf's head popped out of the water, a pleasant expression on his face and a friendly look in his silver eyes.
"Hello," he greeted her in as non-threatening of a way as possible, "This place is a bit... Dead for such a pretty wolf, dontcha think?" the jet-black, white-speckled wolf asked.

She cut off her growling and sat down on her hind legs. The sound of snapping bones echoed through the small oasis as Aries changed into a human. She squatted in the balls of her toes on the rock looking down at the male wolf. "Get out of my pond," she said calmly but sternly. Her long black hair was resting on the boulder around her feet as she stayed n the same place to make sure he left the water. Her sliver eyes were narrowed at him and the scar through her eye was intensified with her scowl.
His ees lit up when she began to change and he climbed out of the water then shook himself dry before changing into a human, a process which took about 30 seconds.
El was rather handsome as a human and he had transformed with clothes and all.
"Are you a werewolf too?" he asked curiously and smiled rather charmingly at her.

"Shapeshifter," she replied crossing her arms over her chest and glaring at the stranger. She wan't usually rude but after having the last of her forest burned, hospitality was the last thing on her mind. Her silver eyes looked over him trying to find any hints to where he had come from and why. Aries loosened up again realizing he was no threat and paced around on the boulder. "Why would my waterfall send you? I thought it was supposed to help me kill off the things ruining my island not kill them with kindness," she complained more to herself.
"I had nothing to do with this," he shrugged, "This is an island?" he asked curiously then, "Well, I was swimming on the mainland. I went under water and suddenly I got sucked down, which I guess was your waterfall. When I came back up, I was here."
Aries sensed that he was telling the truth and nodded curtly. "Fine but since you are in my territory, you follow my rules. We clear?" she asked sternly. "Do you have a name or not wolf boy?" Aries rested her chin on her fist and sat Indian style across from the boy. She held an amused expression as she kept asking why the spirits chose this boy to help her. Obviously, her confident and intimidating attitude was conflicted with his bubbly personality. 'Opposites attract or something right?' She thought to herself.
The laid back werewolf nodded, "Yup, I'm Elemeno. You can call me El," he smiled kindly, "Now, mind explaining what happened here? Or do you not know either?"
The Fallen had seemed to rise once more, centuries of being trapped away in that cell and finally The last seal was broken. The fallen let out a roar strong enough to shake he whole island, it sounded like many roars all put into one. It sent chills down spines. The creature stood up right, it's body engulfed in ash black smoke and the size of it was taller than the trees.
"Nos tandem excitatus! (Finally we have woken)" The loud deep voice coming from within the smoke, again, sounded like many voices saying the same thing to make up one loud voice. "Ubi est facinum!? (Where is the Talisman?!)"

Her eyes widened at the sound of the roar and shaking under her feet. Aries glanced nervously over the charred land and then back to El. "I'm guessing that might have something to do with it," she said as she shuddered. She twirled her hair through her fingers, anxiously waiting for what was to come.
The young man froze for a moment as the roar shook the blackened husks of the trees around them, "It doesn't sound too friendly," he grimaced, "I'll help you as best I can to make this island right," he offered, "If you'd have me, anyways. If not, I'll figure out how to get home."
Aries sighed and rubbed her hand over her face in exhaustion. Her silver eyes showed how tired she was and how little rest she had footmen while trying to protect this place. "No stay. I need another pair of eyes and some help would be...appreciated," she replied. This was unusual for her to want someone to help her but in dire situations, another person could be there for not only help but comfort.
He nodded, "Alright... I'm a decent fighter and I'm pretty smart, so I'll help you out as much as possible," he smiled reassuringly, "We'll make thing right."
Aries looked at him skeptically but accepted it. Her eyes once again darted over the land and then up to the top of the waterfall. "There's a cave up there so lets play it safe for now," she said pointing up. Without waiting for a response she changed into a falcon and soared up but glanced over her back to make sure he was following.
That was much faster than he could change so he just took off running after her as fast as he could, which actually was decently fast, but it would take a while for him to climb up to the top.
The Dark figure that stood dead center of the black smoke seemed to be the source of it "After centuries We have risen!" They looked around only to see the aftermath of what they have done to the island "It seems my destructive powers are not as strong without my talisman!" they roared once more shaking the earth.
The clod seemed to char the ground and the trees, whoever or whatever this being/s was it wasn't going to play games.

As soon as she saw the boy following she sped up and flicked her wings a couple times to get to the cave. When she was above solid ground, she transformed back into a human and landed safely. She turned waiting on El to get to where she was. Her mind was still racing although she didn't express it on her blank face.
It took him about five minutes. There is only so much the human body can do after all, super human or not, though he was only breathing a little but heavily by the time he got to the top.
"Alright... So was your plan just to stay here for the night?"
