I'd like to see when my characters' connections update - I think this used to be a thing? - so your own newsfeed is mixed in with the feed from your friends and roleplay partners.

Maybe some might find this annoying, so why not make it optional? As in, you can toggle whether or not you see your own characters updates or not within the profile/account edit.

You can already accomplish this two ways:

1. Use the Recent Activity widget on the character profile. It shows you what everyone else gets in their feed, including connections and image uploads etc.

2. Befriend your own characters. If your character is connected to another character of yours, you will see their updates like you would if you connect to someone else's character.

I don't know if these are options that will work out for you, but they are possible. (Due to your question if it used to be a thing, I think you may have done this accidentally before with the connections, because it's always been like this. )

If you make friends (or whatever) with another character, you should see them making that friendship connection appear in your stream. If you aren't, you may need to clear your notifications cache (link in the bottom right of the homepage). If that still doesn't work, submit a bug report with the names of the two characters that made a connection so I can look more closely?

What I meant was if you sent the request from your character to another (which you didn't play) - is it possible to get this up on the newsfeed already? I know if someone requests a link with your character it pops up, but never the other way around.

I also meant in regards to images you've uploaded to characters. Is there a way for this to be implemented already, without having to link one of your own characters' profile to another?

Ah, I see. No, neither of those things are currently possible. People aren't typically notified of what they've done themselves.
