Melstrum watched as Keith took the air away from around him. He then continued to watch as Keith called demons to attack Jade. This break in his concentration no matter how small gave Melstrum enough time to protect himself from the lack of air. Without Keith knowing he made a small transparent air filled shield around him. "You will have to try harder than that." He said laughing. Raising his arm Melstrum said. "Let's see how you fair in flames." After saying this flames appeared all around Keith and he was completely covered in a flaming sphere. "You could shut of the air around you but you need air." He said chuckling. Feeling the magic keeping the air away from him becoming weaker he managed to free himself from the air less vacuum.

as she looked back she saw mel handling him self fine good she thought i cant have some one els kill him now onto to this lttl interference it seems like the demon population has doubled

Ethlas stood up after the person she was healing came back to life. "Hey! stop fighting and trying to kill each other!" her eyes widened at what she said. she didn't know what she was doing but she couldn't just sit there any longer. she felt she had to do something.

Suddenly, a vacuum surrounded the flames. Within seconds the fire had died and the vacuum dissipated. Keith emerging a sinister smile on his face. "Do you really think I would not be able to hold my breathe for the few seconds needed to create and maintain the vacuum?" He questioned Melstrum.

"However, I can respect that you have survived this long, even though I have been using a faction of my power. I must go now. I was suppose to be meeting the Goddesses of the Earth five minutes ago." He smirked. "Though I did enjoy our little quarrel. It was most entertaining. Though, in case you haven't noticed, that healer girl has been running around, undoing all your hard work. How unfortunate. Ta-Ta." He waved before snapping his fingers and disappearing. The demons he had summoned from the earth also left and the clouds parted, sunshine lit the devastated town.

"Well then. He would be just what I need." Melstrum said before turning his attention to Ethlas. "Remarkable healing powers you have there. Could you tell me what you are going here?" He asked putting his sword away. He turned his head to face the villages that had been revived. "Just let me fix this little problem." He said raising his hand chuckling. The villages were lifted into the air and two flame demons emerged and began to tear them apart. "Now where were we? Oh yes you were telling me why you are here. So start talking." He said as the screams of the villages could be heard as they were ripped apart.

her eyes widened even more "NO! STOP! you don't need to do this!" she clenched her hands "OH well... ill just heal them again..." she said as a tear went down her cheek. she hated to hear the screamed of pain and she paced her hand on her sword that was hidden under her cloak. she was trembling because she was not even close to these peoples strength.

"So how many times will they have to suffer before they can final have peace. If you care for them you would leave them dead. How would you like to see your family ripped limb from limb and then be ripped apart yourself over and over again?" He asked her.

she slowly let go of the handle of her sword. it did not do any damage, it only healed. "it would be a living hell..." she said quietly. her voice was shaky because she was shaking. she didn't want these people to be dead but she wanted them to be at peace. she didn't know what to do. she was tirn between decisions.

"I will be fair. You simply tell me how you got such healing powers and I will leave. Or I can simply extract your blood and see if you can heal yourself." Melstrum said laughing to himself. "Here I will give you a bit on incentive." He said raising his hand which caused the girl to float and he brought her towards him. "Now you can tell me what I want to know or." He said as he tightened his fist and Ethlas's body tightened causing pain to run up her body.

She grunted in pain "Ah! I w-was born with it! Please! Let be go!" She regretted her decision on getting close and speaking up. She never learned from the other times people wanted her abilities. She was known all around because of what she could do and because of her beuity.

"Ah! I was B-born with it and t-trained every day! Th-thats all! P-please! L-let me go!" She yelled. She regretted standing up and speaking out. She never learned from all the life and death situations she was in. Lots of beings wanted her because of her abilities and her beauty. She was well known because of it.

"You want to just be let go after coming here and interfering with my work? Silly girl." Melstrum laughed still holding the girl in the air. "I won't kill you. Now anyway. Instead I will let you go." He took her sword from under her cloak. "This is a unique blade though." He examined the blade over. "Let's try something." He said pulling out a large knife he kept under his robes. He gave her a small gash on the cheek with the blade. As blood leaked out and she moaned he took her sword and ran it through the wound. The wound healed up nearly instantly. "Remarkable. I thought it had some magical properties. Is it of elvish make?" He asked already knowing the answer. "Very well I will let you go. Here take your blade and run along." He said handing her the blade as she dropped to the ground.

She panted at she fill to ths ground. She was puzzled at how he wasn't making her stay and be his slave. She stood up and grabbed her sword. She bowed to him "Hannon le" she said which meant thank you. She turned around away from you then started running in that direction.

"No thank you." He said watching her run off. He looked at the dagger he used to cut her face. The blade still had some of her blood on it. Melstrum held up a small smooth stone to the blood and it was absorbed into it. He laughed as the stone turned a dark purple. "Oh this will be perfect for what is to come." He turned to the sound of footsteps. He turned to see Jade standing behind him. "Can I help you?" He asked.

WHAT?!? HE HE JUST LET HER GO "what are you doing that... that girl ruined all we worked for we had Kieth and she distracted us and KEITH GOT AWAY!" goddess jade had spent years racking in money and a reputation now with that bounty on his head that is exactly what jade need to get to the top to finish her life long quest he was the closest thing she had to get to him she gain his loyaltie if she brings mel in thats it im not going to do let him get away "well! why we could use her enslave her harness her power!!" all he wants is power if i can get him locked on her she can get him i just need your head.

She whispers in her elvish tongue. As she does, a white horse comes running by her side. She grabbs its main and she jumps in its back. She was riding bareback. She took off her black cloak and laid it in front of her. then she took off her white dress and there was elvish Armour under it. she put the cloak back on but the dress fell and flew off the horse. She sighed but she didn't want to waist time to grab it.

Suddenly, Keith appeared in front of the horse. In his hand was the white dress Ethlas had dropped. He raised his hand and increased the air pressure in front of the horse, making so difficult for the horse to continue on it's gallop that it had to stop.

Once the horse he stopped, Keith threw the dress in front of it and looked at Ethlas with an amused expression. "You dropped this." He said with a smirk.

she had the horse walk back a little "thank you" she said. she same off her horse. she kept her guard up and walked to her dress and picked it up. "again, thank you" she started to walk to her horse but it started to walk back. she quietly spoke to it in her elfish tongue to calm it.

"So tell me." Keith said, plopping himself on the grass in front of the horse. "Why in the gods good names were you at the once peaceful town?" He regarded her as a scientist would regard a particulary intriguing experiment.

"because it was peaceful. I was going to live there for a few weeks, also there were some people that were sick and I was healing them. I go town to town and heal the sick." she said as she calmed down her horse then she jumped on its back.
