"How very noble of you." Keith said disinterestedly. " And if you don't mind me asking, what exactly do you get out of this? Please don't tell me you do that just to feel all warm and buttery inside." He said, picking at a particularly nasty hang nail on his left hand.

"that is the reason. it makes me happy those smiles on peoples faces. they offer me rewards but I decline. I don't heal for money." she said with a smile "is there anything you need from me?" she asked

"Nope." Keith stood and walked away. "I'd watch your back if I were you. Several beings would no doubt like to absorb your powers." With that he snapped his fingers and disappeared.

her eyes widened and she looked around. she kept her guard and she had her horse start walking. she had another sword that was under dress to do damage. she pulled it out and held onto it as she made her horse start running. she kept her guard up

Blake just heading down the route to the town was unaware of the current horse heading towards him. He was more paying attention to the current map in front of him than the path he was walking. If he was not to act he would certainly be hit by the oncoming horse. Unfortunately he wasn't paying attention leaving it up to the rider to make the last moment decision to avoid the man or run the horse straight into him. The opportunity for this quick maneuver was very small.

her eyes widened and she pulled back in the horse's rains . the horse bucked around and knocked her off in front of the person. "OW!" the girl yelled and tried to get up.

Blake quickly jumped back pulling out both his swords quickly. He seemed very alarmed from his concentration being broken in such a manor. He looked around quickly and sheathed both his weapons and approached the individual who had been riding the horse. "My sincere apologies. I should have been paying attention. What are you in such a rush for though?" He looked at her and put out a hand. "Do you need help up?"

she took his hand and stood up. "there's people after me and I suggest not walking while your not paying attention where your going." she said and grabbed her horses main. she tried to calm it by speaking in her elfish tongue. "I am Ethlas, who might you be?"

"Oh I'm Blake Loltel. Pleasure to meet you Ethlas. Now I must ask what do you mean after you? In my case that normally means that the individuals are either... After something or They wish to remove forcefully. In other words death. I suppose considering the speed at which you were riding it has to be both? Or perhaps I'm entirely missing the point here."

Blake looked at her quite puzzled "Well if your riding away from the village... I do hope it's not to bad, After all i was just coming all this way to visit this Village anyway"

(considering the time I'll be going for now. 12:28 AM I'll be back at like 6:30 AM)

"I have this grate healing ability and don't go to that village. your life will regret it. they want me as in my person as a slave" she said then got on her horse "I tried to save the village but..."

"Save the Village? Wait what do you mean Ethlas? What happened!" Blake immediately looked off towards the direction of the village seeing some of the carnage that took place.. Much of it hidden from the slight Hills in the distance. "I won't be leaving until I get the information from this village that I came here for." He seemed very determined with that statement.

She fallowed him. She wanted to stay with him in case he gets hurt for any reason. She didn't want to see another life taken. She was traumatized from the screams of innocent people. "I suggest you get your information then leave and never come back." She said seriously with serious look on her face.

"Hey Ethlas you sure you're alright? You really do seem pale what happened here?" he looked at her curious and possibly worried at the same time. "Well I believe you should let me know of what I'm going to run into when going here... I should be prepared if it's bad."

Blake placed both his hands on his weapons staying on the current path towards the village. Prepared for what was to come. "I may not have to come back if they have the information I'm looking for... But it seems that I may not get this information after all" he looked at the devastation left behind after Melstrum had finished his harvest.

"I have been living here for a few days, I may know some things. the people seemed to really like me. What is the information you need?" She asked as she hopped off her horse but kept her hand on its back. She wondered what kind of powers this person posses

"I'm looking for a man who knows of the where abouts of the refugees of BranchWood Academy... I was told one man here knows of such knowledge... But I believe with this carnage He would of left immediately... Infact he doesn't even want to meet me. Or anyone he's been fleeing I tracked him to this village. " he looks at Ethlas

"So your a healer? Perhaps you've heard of the ancient blades that were created to hold demons? It's a chance that you haven't as these are ways from the far East. I myself am what people from the east call a Weapon Master. Perhaps if things go poorly I can show my ways." he looks back walking backwards while talking too

"so what brought you to this place?"

she was interested but when she herd the word demon, she kept her hand on the handle of her sword that does damage. "I was in the town for a few days. I was there healing the sick and injured. that's what I do. I go town to town, village by village, and just heal anyone who may need it. I like seeing the happy faced on people so I was blessed to have this power."

"I can see your troubled with the fact that I have a demon Blade. My appologies... I wasn't given a choice..." he looked at her "if I can though I'll help the village I promise." he looks around "I'm not gonna just sit Idle when they could have information for me. Let alone let others die for no reason"

"sadly... there is nothing we can do for the people. they were all ripped to shreds" she said and her eyes filled with tears. "she will never have those screams out if her find. "if I could.. I would kill the one who did this... sadly, im not near as strong. Im just strong enough to barley escape situations with my life" she looked down and her mind started to drift off into thought

"Well... I'll see what's left you don't need to follow.. I can surely hold my own... But torn to shreds.... Perhaps it might be more than I'm used to this time" he looks at her "Now don't cry. I'll do my best to address the situation head on" he moved to wipe the tears "Listen much as I hate people I won't let someone cry" he gripped his weapons preparing for the worst as he made it towards the outside of the village

Unbeknownst of the pair, Keith was sitting on a nearby hilltop, observing the newcomer to the area with interest. The man did not seem very powerful, at least not when compared to Melstrum and himself. He would probably be a match for any mortal that crossed his path, but no doubt would fold under the awesome might of the demigod or the god's servant. However, Keith wished to put him to the test.

He grinned as he snapped his fingers, summoning half a dozen storm demons. "Go and greet our new friend!" He commanded. The storm demons roared in answer before flying off to do their master's bidding.
