"Okay," he said, "Would like me to accompany you? Or would you rather I just wait here? I can do either."
"I honestly don't think it'll take long, maybe just wait at one of the tables, or you can do whatever you are more comfortable with?" She stood at the tavern door, smiling softly.
"I think I should like to come with you then," he smiled and put his hands into his pockets.
"Alright," She opened the tavern door and went straight through to the back of the building, past a couple closed rooms and to the last door on the left, "Here we are, don't mind the breeze, I usually keep the window open." She opened the door wide and went in.
He stayed at the doorway, feeling it was disrespectful to enter a woman's room without actually getting permission to do so.
She turned to look at him, noticing him standing in the door-way "Sorry, would you like to come in?"
"No need, just a few more things," She gathered some random trinkets from the bedside table, then grabbing what few items of clothing she had in a small cabinet, stuffing everything in a small bag. "Alright, I'm ready." She looked around and grinned, "Lead the way."
"Alrighty," he nodded and led her back out and into the forest. They walked for a time before comig across a nice, two story log cabin.
"Home sweet home," he smiled as he stepped onto the wrap-around porch.
"Home sweet home," he smiled as he stepped onto the wrap-around porch.
Twilight admired the cabin, "This is yours?" Her eyes grew wide at how tall it was.
"Yup. I found it and made it better," he said proudly and walked in. The rooms were illuminated by enchanted candles. There were sofas around a nice coffee table and a couple arm chairs as well. There was a stone fire place and a model ship on the mantle. The other two rooms on the first floor were the kitchen/dining room and a study.
"This place is beautiful, it looks comfortable." She gently touched the model ship, "This is pretty, did you make it?"
"I wish," he chuckled, "I bought it at a market from some Norwegian Vikings," he said. The ship did in fact look like a Viking longboat and was fairly well crafted, complete with oars, shields on the side, and even a sail that could be raised and lowered with the pull of a string.
She looked it over one last time, "Good buy." She yawned softly, "Is there a place where I can put my things?"
"Of course," he led her up the stairs and to a room that had a neatly made bed and a large, floor to ceiling window, giving her a good view of the forest canopy… Well, the shorter parts of it anyways,
"This can be your room."
"This can be your room."
"Oh my, it's gorgeous. Thank you." While she took in the scenery she smiled softly. "How can I ever thank you enough?" She laughed queitly.
"You can help me maintain the house," he replied, "Do you want anything to eat?"
"Deal." Her stomach growled softly,"Yes, please."
"You the awesome kind of fairy? You eat meat?" he asked, "Or are you some pansy widoo vegetawian?" he asked tauntingly.
Twilight tilts her head to the side and jokingly replies, "For all you know, I eat people." She giggles, "I am most definately not a vegetarian."
