The research notes do mention a thing about two seals being enough to halt the build up of volcanic pressure at the cost of the energy processes of half the land. So if that's applied game wise, if we get two seals running, it won't erupt, but we'll need more food and shelter? :'D

Piercing weapons have lowest damage, but increased chance of dodging (letting you get more hits in). Guns have highest potential damage, but break fastest and are the only useful thing against blue enemies.

Food and shelter aren't energy, though.

But I guess "hope" might be.
