Sometimes there were hints in them, in previous years, too.

Yeah, the year they first appeared they were a source of hints, and the empty bottles you'd get were used in crafting boost oils.

I didn't understand how to grab stuff from the armory, unless you had to be part of the group?

And I'll say that if you just want to grab a few thing from the Armory to display on your profile, that's 100% okay.

You do have to join the Armory to raid its treasury, yes!

You did have to join the group, but just clicking join would automatically approve you
