I don't think I've ever been on a forum site where the mods, let alone the site admin are so friendly with everyone. There's always been a sort of hidden hierarchy and a sort of competitive nature where you had to earn the mods' favour. But on here everyone's hanging out together—it's not to say the mods don't do their jobs but like. There's a sense of community and no reason to be intimidated

Oh yeah, Kim is, like, sort of a personal hero. She's amazing. And she knows I have a squish on her.

(FYI since most folks are unfamiliar with it: "squish" is the platonic version of a crush. Similarly intense feels, just oriented around "I wanna be their friend so much!")
