Also, how do you make an iron pickaxe? I have a steel one, but wanna know what you need for an iron one

No, the forest berries aren't farmable.

You sure about the private stash thing? Because I keep having items vanish from mine. Like every food item I'd put in there is now gone.

Yes, it is definitely private. Sounds like you're having inventory issues, but they're unrelated to thievery

Putting in a bunch of work for stuff is even more annoying when it randomly vanishes on you.

You can send whole watermelons in the food cart. Doubles as ammunition in the fight; break it over a monster, have a picnic.

There's gold near the south entry/exit in the top right map

And where is the food cart? I only really had a few random veggies yet, set them aside to try to gather more other stuff to actually have materials to work with.

@Zelphyr What foods went missing from your chest? I'm seeing quite a few foods in there

Also, does more become available as you go? Because I swear new things (like options for things that can be crafted, regardless of having supplies for them) keep appearing.

Last I looked in my chest, I didn't see any food.
