Mm, using lots of healing items, and getting in good hits seems to be good, haha.

I got a grenade a while ago, and that did about 36 damage, I think? Plus guns and some swords seem to work well enough. I haven't tried a flintlock on any of them...

Actually... yeah, if you can figure out how to "farm" for hats. Get hats, get loyalty gifts repairing guns/pistols... and those gifts are often cannons and rocket launchers.
