Anyone got any tips for tilling earth near crops? Mabye I'm not used to farming games but it seems really finnicky

It's definitely finicky. I find it works best when I stand at the very top, to the left or right of the tile I'm trying to till.

It's really touchy depending on the crops its near. I tend to wait until the crop thats messing with it finishes growing.

what do we do with food when we have it cooked?
