Ok I will admit that the magnet can be useful when I screw up and need to reposition the weapon, especially in light of the weapon going through the wall bug. However outside of that specific instance, I find the magnet to be extremely annoying and more of a hinderance then a help. So I would love to have a button to make doubutt drop it either once I am done needing it or if I accidently pick it up.
The button to drop is Q
