Jinx shrugged and continued to stare out the window. Who knows, she might actually need his help eventually. "Ok." She mumbled, looking back at the radio and changing it to a rock station. She had noticed the way he had tensed when she put on the country. "You could've told me you didn't like country either." She said with a short laugh.
He winced and smiled weakly, "sorry, it didn't come to mind... The ears can be treacherous," the wolf boy said, assuming she saw them flatten a bit.
Jinx laughed and drummed her finger on the dashboard to the rhythm of the drums, not missing a single beat. It was like she knew the song even though you could barely hear the drums in the background. "So...." She started, trying to keep it from hitting an awkward silence.
"Anything you wanna know about me?" he asked with a little glance to her.
"How old are you?" She asked, not returning the glance.
"17," he smiled, "And you?"
"Same..." She replied. "Do you go to school?" She asked suddenly, very curious. (I'm concluding there are schools around since you have a 2001 toyoda..... xD)
(x3 yes. I concluded that he could have a Toyota since Jinx had modern day clothes on)
"Yeah, I do," he nodded, "But it's saturday. I guess you don't go?"
"Yeah, I do," he nodded, "But it's saturday. I guess you don't go?"
Jinx shook her head slowly. "Never have." She said, her head staring aimlessly out the window. "What are your brothers and sister like?" She added quietly.
"Well, my sister is 14. She's got good grades, is pretty smart and we get along okay. She used to get on my nerves a lot. One of my brothers is 10. He's really athletic and mediocre at school and he annoys the living hell out of me. My youngest brother is five. He's just kinda cute and stuff. Normal five year old, really," he shrugged as they left the city and the area around them became more suburban.
Jinx smiled and tried to remember what her sister was like but failed. "Sounds nice, having brothers and a sister." She replied, almost monotone. She noticed the scenery change to more of a suburban area and watched the farms and big houses pass.
"Depends on the day," he chuckled.
It wasn't even that, just neighborhoods with small shopping areas with gas stations, smaller restaurants, CVS stores, anything small.
All of the houses had wooden fences around them and were two stories plus a basement.
Andrew turned down a road that had one of the aforementioned shopping areas on the left side but it quickly turned into houses behind the Wine Seller. He drove up past three streets, all turning into the same neighborhood and turned into the third one, which was the last one right before a large park with a soccer field, playground and path going all around it.
Andrew drove about 2/3 the way up the street before pulling to a stop in front of a home with cream colored sidings and fake stones around the garage, which was on the left side.
He turned off and unlocked the car then stepped out.
"Alrighty, come on," he smiled and walked toward the front door, which was directly to the right of the garage and he unlocked then opened it.
Just inside the door was an L staircase that led upstars and a closet right in front of it. To the right was a living room with two brown leather couches and that had a floor-ceiling window that looked out to the front yard. Behind that was a dining room with a long, brown table that seated up to 8, if other chairs were moved. Through a small frame was the kitchen which had an island in the middle, hardwood floors and a round, dark brown table. To the left of the entryway was a short hall with one door on each side and led into the family room, which had two cloth sodas with a south-west styled pattern. There was also a tan coffee table and a plasma screen TV above the fireplace. This opened into the kitchen through a doorway.

Jinx followed him out of the car as her mouth hung open at the sight of the house. She had never actually been invited into a house since she was little and this house was big. "Wow." She gasped as he opened the door and she followed him in. It was just as big on the inside as the outside if not bigger. "You actually live here?"
(It's based off my house, which is actually kinda small x3)
"Yup. This is home," he smiled at her and wagged his tail, "So, hamburgers?" he asked as he walked into the kitchen and opened up the fridge to grab some raw, ground beef.

"Sure." She said still gazing around the house. She walked into the kitchen with him and sat atop a stool at the island. "Can I have a water too?" She asked politely, spinning on the stool.
(No stools. The kitchen is much too small for that xD if there were stools around the island, you wouldn't be able to walk. It's right in the center and is just an extra counter.)
"Sure," he opened a cabinet and pulled out two glasses then filled them from the fridge. He gave her one glass then pulled on a pair of disposable, plastic gloves and began preparing the meat. He put in several seasonings and then kneaded the meat to mix it before forming it into patties, "You'll probably eat two, right?" he asked.

"Thanks" Jinx said as she took the water from him, taking a sip. She watched him knead the meat and almost missed what he asked her. "Uh... Actually..." She said trailing off a bit. "Do you mind if I have four?" She asked quietly, hoping he didn't hear her. She had always needed more food then other people because of her heritage.
"Four?" he asked, his sensitive wolf ears easily picking up her request, "Guess you don't eat too much... Four it is," he smiled and prepared six patties then stepped onto the back porch and started the grill.
"Yeah that's what it is." She mumbled, following him to the back porch. "Do you by chance have a pool as well?" She asked hopefully, wanting nothing more than to swim in clean pool water.
"You're kidding right?" he raised an eyebrow, "We're in the center of suburbia. There's no room for a pool," he looked out into his back yard, which was a small thing with two levels, the lower of which was only about 4 feet from the rock wall to the fence. The higher level was bigger and there was a fire pit. The rock wall was separated from the higher part of the yard by a flower garden.
"We've got showers if you wanna take one," he offered.
