"Well sorrrrry, I'm not exactly from here." She mumbled, shaking her head. "I'll take a shower later if that's ok." She added, looking out into the small backyard. She sat cross-legged against the wall of the house and watched Andrew cook the burgers. "Can I have mine more on the rare side, but still cooked? Like a medium rare?"

"You can sit in a chair," he smiled and pointed to the deck table with six chairs around it, "And you got it. Rare burgers."

Jinx glanced over to where he pointed to the deck chair and then back to him when he started speaking again. "I'm fine on the ground." She replied, smiling also. "Can I help with anything?" She asked, hating the idea of just sitting there and letting him do all the work.

"Be careful. The deck is kinda old, you might get splinters," he warned, though he was bare pawed himself (since he couldn't wear shoes anyways).
"And no, this isn't too much of a problem," he smiled warmly at her, "So, just out of curiosity, what is someone like you doing tonight that's more important or better than a warm bed and more food?"

"Just some..... Business..." She said, aware that he brought up the subject again. "Are you sure? I can set the table or something." She said standing up and pacing a bit.

"Yeah... Did you see where I got the plates out from? And then there is mayonnaise, ketchup and lettuce in the refridgerator."

"Ok." Jinx said with a bright smile, glad she could help. She quickly went back in and got the plates from the cabinet he got the drinks from earlier and set them on the table, carefully putting a napkin beside the plate too. Next she went into the fridge and got the condiments, lettuce, and tomatoes, setting them in the center of the table for both of them. (Lol, I added tomatoes 'cause I like them. ) When she finished, she walked back outside and stood by the wall. "All finissssshed." She said in a sing-songy voice.

Andrew smiled at her and flipped the burgers, "Cool, thanks," he smiled warmly and took a step back then closed the grill.
"I wish I was better at small talk..." he rubbed the back of his head a bit shyly.

"No problema." She replied, a bit of Italian slipping out. "It's all good." She added, noticing that he was a bit nervous. "Not everybody is good with talking around people. Take me for instance, I'm just talking allot to hide how nervous I am." She said talking a little bit too fast.

"It's not that I can't talk, it's that I can't think f anything to talk about," he chuckled and sat down on one of the chairs.

"Basically what I said." She said smiling. (Are the burgers done or still in the grill???) She drummed her fingers on the table and looked Andrew in the eye. "What is school like?"

(still on the grill)

He held her gaze for a few seconds then looked up at the clouds, "I don't really know how to describe it to someone who doesn't go... There's a lot of people, a lot of different clases and teachers. It's boring and I don't really like it, but it's a good way to meet people."

"Cool. What classes do you take?" She asked, glancing up at the light fluffy clouds above them. She always avoided people, but school fascinated her on a different level. To be able to learn new information that is actually relevant in the real world, like how to count or divide, was a dream all by itself.

"Pre-calculus, American Literature, a tech class, an art class, American history and physics," he answered.

"Sounds nice." Jinx said, absorbed in her own thoughts. She stared off into space wondering what it was like actually going to school when she smelled the heavenly burgers. "Burgers are still in the grill." She said with a slight smirk.

"Everything is okay except history and math. I hate math and my history class is just so boring..." he sighed and nodded then stood, "I know," he went and lifted the lid then pulled her four patties off so that hers were only rare. He kept his on for a little while longer then put them on a plate too. He went inside and grabbed a bag of buns.
"Let's eat," he smiled.

Jinx clapped her hands and grabbed her patties and stuck two on each bun so she had two double burgers. She dressed them up with ketchup, mustard, tomatoes, pickles (lets assume. >_<), and lettuce. "My masterpiece." She said with a goofy grin as she took a big bit out of the burger. "Thisisgooooooood" She said with her mouth full of food.

The wolf watched for a moment before digging in as well.
It wasn'tong before he finished the meal and he stood and took the dishes to the sink.
"Ah... Those were pretty good."

Jinx finished her first burger and started on her second, eating it quickly. "Yeah." She said with her mouth full again. She grabbed her plate and cup and set them carefully into the sink then sat back down and finished the food in her mouth. She looked at the time and saw it was almost 6:00 then looked back at Andrew. "I have to go....." She said letting the end of the sentence trail off.

"Are you sure?" he asked, "Well... You can come back as long as you don't bring anyone with you, okay?" he asked.
