"Have fun with that." Jinx said to the police, turning her head back to the Medic's. She thought for a moment and said the first address that came to her mind, Andrews house. She had managed to get a good look at where his house was when they were driving by, and he had said she could come by whenever she wanted as long as she didn't bring any friends. "698 Charters Lane." Jinx relayed to the medic, feeling a bit tired from all this excitement.
"Alright," the officer wrote it down and gave it to the medics.
Several hours later they dropped her off at Andrew's home. They had put Jinx on a cast and bandaged her up and they also managed to contact her father and tell her what happened.
Several hours later they dropped her off at Andrew's home. They had put Jinx on a cast and bandaged her up and they also managed to contact her father and tell her what happened.
Jinx's head and torso was bandaged all the way around and they had put a red cast on her arm. Her left leg was also bandaged so she limped up the front steps to his door. She was glad they hadn't walked her up to the front door, then she would have had to explain to Andrew silently and pray he played along. Gathering all her courage, she rang the doorbell and waited for Andrew to answer the door.
It didn't take too long and he went wide eyed when he saw her, "What the heck happened to you?!" he ushered her inside.
"Ran into some unhelpful people...." She said simply, walking inside and sitting on the couch. She absent-mindedly rubbed her head where her bandage was, wincing from the contact. "Thanks for letting me in." She said with a tired smile.
He pouted and helped her onto the couch, "Was it those people you went to see last night?"
"Yeah." Jinx said, not seeing the point of lying anymore. Her father was still in Germany despite the officers best attempt of getting him back here. "Hey, do you think your parents would mind if I stay here a bit? My father sold his house here to have spending money in Germany, and then some people came to my house and said they were taking it for the government...." She said, cluing him in on why she had been sleeping in an alleyway.
"Why didn't he take you with him?" he frowned, "And I doubt it. They don't know you. Maybe... But I doubt it."
Jinx shrugged for both the question and statement. "I don't know why he didn't bring me, he was just gone when I woke up that morning and he called later on to say he had business in Germany." She said, leaning back on the couch.
"Oh... Well... You're welcome to stay here until my parents get home tomorrow night."
"Thanks." Jinx said with a nod as she closed her eyes and fell asleep on the couch, falling into an seemingly endless nightmare.
He watched her fall asleep and woke her up later to ask if she wanted lunch.
Jinx woke up to Andrew standing over her and asking her if she wanted lunch. "Sure." She mumbled half asleep, getting ready to close her eyes again.
"What kind of sandwhich do you want ?"
"Do you have salami?" She asked, now a little more awake at the sound of food. (Lol, I actually looooove salami. )
"Um... Maybe? Nobody in my family eats it... I'll check," he disappeared into the kitchen, "There's ham and turkey."
"Turkey then." She said, a bit disappointed that there wasn't salami. She stretched her legs out as well as her arms and headed into the kitchen, leaning against the counter.
"Lettuce? Mayonnaise? Anything on it or just the meat?"
"Tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo please." She said with a yawn, still a little sore from this morning.
He prepared her burger as requested and passed it to her on a plate then sat down with his own burger.
"So... Mind telling me what happened?"
